Sir Alex Ferguson has been sacked by there American owner Malcolm Glazer. The Manchester United owner, who gradually took ove the club between 2003-2005, revealed he needed a new chapter in Manchester United future and didn't think Sir Alex was up to the job. Sir Alex commented:

" I am very shocked and dissapointed to be leaving Manchester United "

These were some of the comments made by the fans on the street's of Manchester

" It's an absolue disgrace, Ferguson made Man Utd what it is today and these Yanks turns up with no clue about football and sack possibly the greatest manager ever seen on these planet "

" The owners don't have a clue. They treat the club as a busniess and have no passion like the fans. They are the one's that should be leaving not Alex "

A couple of minutes after this happend, Sky Bet released these odds of who will be there next manager with Jose Mouinho topping the list.

Cantona Gets The Call!

10 days after Sir Alex Ferguson was sacked, Manchester United have appointed there former number 7, Eric Cantona as there new manager. Cantona, who is dubbed the King by fans has signed a 4 year deal with the Manchester club and has an option to extend it at any time. He's only football related job was the coach of the France Beach Soccer national team. Some fans welcomed the new manager with lots of praises:

" I told you the King would be back, best news I've heard in ages "

" You just couldn't write it could ya, if he does half the job Alex had done, he'll be one heck of a man, Welcome back Eric "

18 year old left-back Dodo also signs for Manchester United for 1.5m from Brazilian club Corinthians.

There last signing was Netherlands right back Gregory Van Der Wiel for 10m from Dutch club Ajax.

The players that left the club was Park Ji-Sung for 4.5m to Italian club Roma, Robbie Brady to Morcambe on loan and the last deal was young winger Bebe to Championshp club Preston North End.

We travelled down to Bloomfield Road on the back of a 2-1 home defeat of the season. We went over 20 games unbeaten. How will this effect the lads? Nemanja also picked up an injury so we played young Jonny Evans along side Rio Ferdinand. This is how the game went:

Mancheste United manager Eric Cantona has revealed that star striker Wayne Rooney has been ruled out for up tp 3 weeks with a pulled hamstring. Cantona commented that this could be a big blow to Manchester United will lots of games pilling up.

It was the 2nd leg against Sevilla in the Champions League Knockout Round. We lost 3-1 in Spain so we had to score atleast 2. Vidic returned to take the place of Jonny Evans. With only former Spurs striker Kanoute missing, Sevilla had a great chance.

The draw for the Champions League Quarter-Final was held. Everybody was exited at the training ground watching it. We were in the last two but didn't know who was left to face us. It came out, it was title challengers Arsenal. Everybody felt a sight of relief as we didn't have to travel out of the country.
