A Photoshop story, featuring Barcelona

lol.... i knew u would thrash the indian teams... :P

Aye, I was kinde annoyed that it was only 28-0 over the 3 games. THose Indian teams are getting stronger. Next year they might embarrass us by scoring!

This has to be one of the best stories ever. I love it

Cheers mate. Barcelona are not a challenging team so I've been making an effort to role play the story and make it an interesting read.

Loving the story, brilliant photoshopping and gifs. Will this co-run with your Summerville story?

I'll be trying to balance both. There is only so much LLM I can deal with before I start wanting to play decent football.

By far the best story I've seen in a while (for detail) since one of mine :P. Keep it up mate.

Graphics are outstanding, the time and effort you put in makes it worth the read - will be following - keep up the good work.

Cheers mate. I'm enjoying looking so deeply into this story and being really detailed. It's helping me get into the save and try to do my best in the Puyol persona.

Thanks a million. I just find it a lot of fun to plug away on Photoshop making images while trying to weave a story around the, otherwise, boring parts of a story. Eg, Pre-Season is usually just a screenshot of results but I thought I could use it to try introduce the personalities of the manager and players.

amazing graphics keep it up will be following

Thank you very much. I'm really enjoying it so far. I get a kick out of making things realistic so playing around in Photoshop for pictures to add to the story is making me really enjoy posting the updates

Will have an update up later today. Been busy finishing off the pres-season and making sure I was ready for La Liga Kick-Off.

The City of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia was our final destination. We had flown over
half the planet during this tour and seen many wonderful places. Australia and
India were fantastic and the boys really enjoyed Turkey, having played Adanaspor AS in
the City of Adana, on the edge of the Mediterranean in the southeast of Turkey.

We were expected to touch down in Saudi arabia in about 2 hours. This was an
annual fixture with feeder club Al-Ittihad than we played every year. While on paper
it may seem trivial, this was my final chance to get a look at the squad and decide which
XI will take the field in 7 days time.

After the convincing 0-4 win in Jeddah, we all went out for a meal. I wanted to
congratulate the guys on a very good pre-seaosn. Scoring 56 and conceding none
was an outstanding display of what this squad is capable of and I wanted them
to enjoy that. This is the club I want to build: One what nurtures and promotes success.

We didn't concede a single goal in over 13 and a half hours of football.
My plaudits had to go to Marc-Andre ter Stegen. With Victor Valdes
having left the club during the summer, many had wondered how the young
German Goalkeeper would settle in.

He told me that Barcelona was always a dream of his and that he
wished he'd one day be able to play here. I really admired his enthusiasm and
asked Xavi if he wouldn't mind keeping an eye on ter Stegen and helping him
to fit in and make sure he wasn't finding life too difficult.

At the airport, I told the squad to change into their Home Kits, and that we were
taking a squad picture before boarding the Boeing 777. I surprised the lads by
walking out onto the tarmac, myself dressed in a Barcelona Kit.

I wanted one last picture with my players, my teammates . . . my friends.

I cant believe you told Stegen how good he wad doing and then left him out of the picture for Pinto! What a meanie:P

That means you're playing on an updated database, so I assume Ivan Rakitic and Claudio Bravo have also joined the club?

Someone had to take the photo

PaidRoom's got my back yo! :P

Aye, I'm playing on LFCMarshall's FM14 Summer Update but It's the first version so Claudio Bravo aint at the club. Pointless signing though in my opinion since Oier Olazabal, Jordi Masip & Adrián Ortolá are all very good goalkeepers who could, if given the chance, be first team starters. Especially Olazabal; that boys got a lot of talent.

The reaosn I'm playing on the Database is that I'm taking the story from the 2014/15 season (but obviously in game in 2013/14) so I can deal with the aftermath of their worst season in the last few years.

Transfer Updates

PSG met Marc Bartra's release clause and immediately, we entered a contract war to win the players signature.
I'm delighted to say that we won. Marc agreed to a new 5 year contract and singed last night. He's a
Central Defender with a huge future at this club. I'll be looking to integrate him into the squad and give him 15-20 first team appearances this season.

We also have a new singing to announce. We managed to agree a deal with PSG for Argentinian midfielder, Javier Pastore. A two footed with a tensity to cut inside from wide and seek shooting opportunities from just outside the box, Pastroe is a player who's natural game suits exactly what we want to do here.

Though because he predominantly plays down the left, he'll have to rotate with Neymar, I'll also be training him to play on the right to afford him more playing time as I think a front three on Messi, Neymar and Pastore could produce some beautiful, free flowing football.

One last Incoming to mention. I've spoken to Didier Drogba about a one year contract; with a 1yr extension.
At 35, he is never going to be a first team starter and I made this very clear to him, but where I do see
his role is as a mentor. With Jean-Marie Dongou being touted as a potential La Liga star, I see Drogba as a perfect tutor. They posses similar skill sets and I'm hoping if Drogba spends enough time helping Dongou develop his game, the Ivorian strikers determination will rub off on the young man. determination

that lineup is amazing, one question thou why messi on the right?

The first day of the season is upon us now and to admit, I'm a little nervous.
The boys had a great pre-seaosn and we're ready for whatever this
season has to throw at us. Our first 7 games have a few difficult fixtures:
Valencia away and Real Madrid at home on the 2nd and 3rd match week respectively.

View attachment 366635
But first, we entertain Celta Vigo at the Camp Nou, I was not going to loose my first game. Not a chance!
I know my First XI and now it was up for them to go out there and play the game I know they are capable of.
With Iniesta still injured, Rakitic is getting the nod to partner Xavi in midfield and I'm putting Messi on the right
to allow Pastore to play on the left; giving the responsibility to playing centrally to Neymar.

There was a good mood in the air. The team bus was 15 minutes from the Stadium and I was passing from row to row seeing if everything had everything they needed. Pastore had his laptop open with the tail end of the Walking dead playing while Xavi had his iPod on shuffle. The bus pulled into the team set down area.
