Show some humility if you cannot back up your words with actions.

Actually i showed my skills. In FM23 i challenged two tactic creators from this forum on network game ...my default tactic versus theirs ....both of them deleted their threads after that. One finished 15 points behind me with mid teams , the other finished 21 points behind me with a top tear clubs challenge.
So if you want we can go. And after we do a season if i prove that your tactic is mid...at most , you delete this thread and move on...

LOL... game breaking tactics? There is no such thing. There are a ton of overachieving tactics, but no game breaking tactics. The game is easy enough for you to succeed with ANY team, with a overachieving tactic. And sometimes what works for someone does not work for others. To define a tactic as a "default" tactic or "game breaking tactic" is just very very subjective. I did a holiday test with City to post the tactic in FMBase and FMArena, but I played a couple of saves with this tactic with underdogs and it does great. Yes sometimes you get trashed home and away against very strong teams, but again...sometimes, not always! But this is due to the attacking mentality of the roles. I DON'T WANT to argue with you... still, I don´t understand your testing... you speak down to the tactic, but the results look great, dominating Serie A, some good results in Europe, etc I know you have a super team, but what I understand is that with this super team of yours, and with the tactics you consider game breaking you win every single match. Is that it?

Banda Noantri, actually I'm a bit bored right now, and just testing tactics all over the place, in order to start a proper save with the winter transfers data update, next week. What you say is the best tactic, or at leats your most favourite tactic, now?

I know you have a super team, but what I understand is that with this super team of yours, and with the tactics you consider game breaking you win every single match. Is that it?

3 undefeated seasons with Vujevic Target man(4-2-4) tactic with same squad. 10 undefeated with Stuttgart with GYR's - Joker. I don't remember how many undefeated i got with Cinderella man from ELTurco but it was 5+. So, yeah ...there are those game breaking tactics ! And to be a pure tactic test , i don't use cornerkick routines. With tactics from those creators i win with default squads. Only transfers i make in first and second season are only for squad depth. No great players , no big signings and still dominate.
But yet again...they don't test their tactics on holiday.
May be try testing a preset in the game with City on holiday...you will be amazed that it will give the same results as yours.

Hi @Banda Noantri , let’s just say I admire your bravery in openly voicing your opinions in this forum. I can relate to your point about how tactics aren’t really filtered anymore—I feel the same way about how FMScout has been flooded with Josh Daly’s rubbish.

That said, I’m curious about your take—do you think the three tactics you mentioned are actually better than the top-ranked ones on FMArena? Obviously, comparing them to those with a similar shape.

FMArena tactics are tested on holiday so they are not that good when you play with it. Everyone knows how FM engine is built and how its ******** you. So when you actually play with those tactics the ME is killing you and you don't have anything to do to change it.
Those 3 creators i mentioned never test their tactics on holiday. The explain what to change when you are in the lead, behind or drawing. What to change to get more out of some positions. Why they use OI's etc.
FMArena gives you holiday tactics that are awesome if you to say want to skip 2 seasons with a team and start on a 3rd and do a rebuild . But if you want a long term save where you enjoy your game , just go with tactics that are explained and Vujavic actually does online tests on his tactics in youtube. GYR is explaining them in videos and ELTurco is explaining them in forum.
So yeah , i think those 3 creators are more legit than FMArena and 101% more legit than FMScout(this site should be banned forever)

I am sharing them because it will have to gel in because i am in season.
Its perfect for Stuttgart because i didnt use wingers with them.
So in couple of days i will share you the results..

played a few games as a new age VFB team. Plug in and play in the middle of the season so that it may not provide the best results. Open play keep scoring. I have tried both tall strikers, or fast dribbles ones. Seems to me fast dribbles are better to score more!

However been leaking a few goals and penalty, mainly from crossing and high balls, maybe I should have tall players across all back 4?

Some less good at finishing but still as good as dribbling and passing and off the ball, I am training them to play as Mezzala and testing the results.

So i found out that the only way my defense stops the goals from crossing is to have full back that have at least 12 heading and 12 jumping reach.
Pay attention when you receive a goal from a cross...its always your full back jumping next to their striker ....yes, that makes no sense but yet....its still happening.
Try signing tall full backs and you will reinvent this game

Edit: One more thing , when you going for strikers go for someone like Sesko , Pio Esposito , Emegha , Ilenikhena etc. , they are good in the air and they are fast( Well Esposito becomes fast after you train him only quickness for 2 seasons...but he became a cheatcode ...scoring more than Haaland)

Strikers - Fast and good heading ....i know its not like IRL but yet this is a game. Dribbling ain't an issue with your strikers. Dribbling is good for winger , wingbacks and attacking midfielders. Wiper is a strange cat...had him few times ...sometimes he scores sometimes not , but still he is young so you have to develop him. Esposito becomes a beast in 3rd season ,after i train him like mad on quickness.
As for the skills sets. You see when playing against Real Madrid that whatever you do your defenders can't stop Mbappe from running like there is no tomorrow with the ball...no matter if he scores or not...he just can't be caught ...so if you have a fast striker , put a trait to run with the ball often.
For a striker like Espotio/Sesko/Wiper etc , you can put to try first time shots(this is how teams score against me and the best strikers do it against me)
Traits i found that are useful if you use them like the AI ....if he is fast - run often with the ball
if he is good finisher and have above 12 long shots - take first time shots
if the player is a winger that you retrain as a striker - try to place his shots and then run with the ball more often.
To be fair you can check the traits on the best players in the game(Mbappe , Haaland, Yamal , Lewandowski etc.) and copy it for your players with similar attributes

So first i will say that my team is great. And its built for this tactic because i was using GYR's joker witch is the same formation only difference is that the DM is moved to CB in yours. So ...yeah , great team and natural on those positions.
Still the tactic did great. Only loss in the league using this tactic come in home game against Bayern where i had the luxury to put my second team because i was already a champion(5 games ahead) and have a replay against Arsenal in CL.
One other thing ...i never switched mentality or tweaked a role , instructions etc. . Pure tactic test.
Here are the results and i will give it a go in a proper test from season 1 with some team with default squad.

I see both of your wingbacks are quite tall, which isn’t easy to find.

I assume these are the attributes needed for wingback?

nah man...it very easy - Pace and Acceleration 15+ , heading and jumping reach 11+
Kayode , Hato ,Doig , Palestra(350k) ....there are tons of them
