Edgar Davids could turn out to be a true bargain. Hope the transfers go well!

Just a quick question how do you get the footballs up beside the scorers? cheers

Fyvie Turns Professional
_____________________________

0,,10284~8300711,00.jpg

Fyvie commits his future to Aberdeen, signing a
deal that keeps him at the club until 2013.

Earlier today, Aberdeen boss Dean Warren announced that youngster
Fraser Fyvie has signed a three and a half year deal at the club just
two days after he turned seventeen and was eligible for a professional
contract.

Fyvie, whose new deal keeps him at the club until the summer of 2013
made his Dons debut aged just 16 years and 4 months when he starred
in Aberdeen's 0-0 draw away to Hibernian back in July of last year.

Fyvie has made an incredible 30 appearences for the Dons this
season in all competitions, scoring 3 goals and setting up 8.

Dons director of football, Willie Miller said : "Fraser is a fantastic talent.
He has made a big impact since coming into the team and given that he
is so young, the acheivement is even more impressive."

Dean Warren had his own piece to say, "Fraser represents all that
we are working hard to acheive in nurturing our own talent through
our youth academy and this is fantastic news for everyone involved
in that setup. Fraser has been an important player for us this season
and what makes it even more remarkable is that he has only just turned
seventeen. There is a lot more to come from the lad I can assure you of that."

The player himself was delighted after he put pen to paper, "This is my dream,
ever since the age of six, I wanted to be a professional footballer, and here I am ... I feel
this season has been a success but I'm always wanting to improve, so hopefully
in a few years time I'll be recognised as one of the best players in the country."

When asked about moving to a bigger club in the future in order to advance his
career, he responded by saying that he was enjoying playing for his boyhood club,
Aberdeen, and just wanted to keep his head down and keep the fans and the
manager happy.

Several clubs down in England have taken an interest in Fyvie but Aberdeen
have responded by slapping a hefty £10 million price tag on the player.

06/02/2010 - Scottish Cup 7th Round

St Mirren 1-1 Aberdeen (Aberdeen win 4-2 on penalties)

balll.gif
Burns (86) | Raĥn OG (45+1)

When it goes to penalties it really is anyones game but
thankfully the lads kept their composure, scoring 4 penalties
out of 4 to set us up with a Quarter Final tie against Celtic.

Davids (39) | Mehmet (20)

You just cannot afford to drop points like that at this
level, two 1-1 draws against a side struggling to survive
in the league is just not on.

13/02/2010 - SPL1

Aberdeen 3-0 Motherwell

balll.gif
Fortune (43) Giannakopoulos (56) Considine (86)

injury.gif
Husin (20)

Best performance of the season, to win 3-0 against
a side battling along side ourselves for a European
spot shows that we intend to be no pushovers.

Through to the final in style, the young lads did me proud
out there. Aberdeen vs Rangers in a cup final,
it has the vibes of a cracking game.

20/02/2010 - SPL1

St Johnstone 0-1 Aberdeen

balll.gif

3 wins and 3 clean sheets on the bounce,
lets hope it continues.

redcardj.gif
Hart (45)

Now that, is the best performance of the season !!!
Absolutely stunning from start to finish, could have scored a
lot more but any 4-0 win will do nicely. Puts us in
good stead for the upcoming old firm matches.

06/03/2010 - Scottish Cup Quarter Final

Aberdeen 1-2 Celtic

balll.gif
Loovens OG (88) | N'Guemo (68) Kamara (90+3)

injury.gif
Samaras (9)

Couldn't be any more devastated than I am at this moment in time.
We thought we were heading for extra time after grabbing a deserved late equaliser,
the 2 minutes of stoppage time had come and gone but the referee seemed reluctant
to blow his whistle, then, almost 4 minutes into time added on, they broke up the field
from our corner and scored ...

14/03/2010 - Scottish League Cup Final

Aberdeen 1-2 Rangers (aet)

balll.gif
Aluko (3) | Miller (21,104)

Absolutely lost for words, first, a goal given well over the
alloted time added on, now an offside goal to win a final,
what has Scottish refereeing come to?
Cant fault the players effort, they were terrific out there,
shame the same can't be said about the officials ...

Rangers.png

__________________________________________

20/03/2010 - SPL1

Rangers 4-0 Aberdeen

balll.gif
Boyd (8) Miller (42,74) Fleck (81)

If the players done the club proud last week, this week
they were an embarrassment to it, very lucky it was only 4-0.
I'll be having words with each and every one of them,
that performance was not on ...
_________________________________________

28/03/2010 - SPL1

Aberdeen 0-1 Hearts

balll.gif
Jonsson (60)

Abolutely shocking end to to the month, the players need to
take a long, hard look at themselves, that's now 2 games
in a row where the effort level has been below 50%.
I expect a big improvement over the coming weeks.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle 1-3 Aberdeen

balll.gif
Sanchez (78) | Kerr (23) Pawlett (83) Davids (90+3 pen)

I thought we had blown it after conceding
a sloppy goal with just ten minutes to play
but in the end it was a convincing victory
that puts us in good shape going into the
final few games of the season.

11/04/2010 - SPL1

Aberdeen 1-0 Kilmarnock

balll.gif
Paton (90)

injury.gif
Wright (67)

Vital win, and to get it in the last minute
is even more pleasing. Four games to go
now, Dundee United, ourselves, Hearts,
Motherwell and Kilmarnock are all separated
by just 5 points so it's shaping up to be
an exciting climax to the season.
________________________________________

17/04/2010 - SPL1

Hamilton Academical 0-2 Aberdeen

balll.gif
Giannakopoulos (45+1 pen, 48 pen)

Three wins on the bounce now,
the players have put the 4 defeats
in a row behind them and we now
sit in 3rd place.

Falkirk 0-1 Aberdeen

balll.gif
Kerr (21)

Another fine away victory to add to the
many we've had so far this season.
2 games left against Dundee United
and Celtic. Three points will see us clinch 3rd ...

Aberdeen 0-1 Dundee United

balll.gif
Cadamarteri (14)

It's disappointing that we only seem to
play well against teams below us in
the league. We now need a win at Celtic
Park and hope that Dundee United
dont win at Falkirk.

Disappointing way to end, but I'm happy with
the season as a whole. 4th in the league and a
cup final means this club is heading in the right
direction and we will improve year by year.

A good 4th place finish mate. Hopefully the European football can attract some good players. Do you know what your budget is yet?

Another question how do you get the bold line after every game to appear? cheers

Haven't been given my budget yet, won over £1,000,000 for finishing 4th in the league so hopefully I'll have a bit to spend on players and wages.

The bold line ... Just press the underscore key as much times as you want, highlight it, then select bold and underline.

Well done on europa league spot mate. Going strong. keep it up :D

P.S how do you get your screenshots like that. Cheers
