Ambitions much like real life to make aberdeen scotlands 3rd force then push towards the and beyond the old firm. Tryed this befour and failed through lack of time and lack of interest and perhaps with a lack of fm10 experiance
What i've decided to do for the first two seasons while were paying of our £9m loan to try and pick up players on the cheep or on free transfers then sell them off for as much as i can then have a good amount to spend when i am hopefully in a position to go for the title in the third season

We were incredibily lucky to get through to the next round after a bumbling tired display. Although it was hardly worth it after we drew everton in the final qualifying round

The transfer window has slammed shut and overall i quite happy with my transactions. Might be a bit weak at centerback but im sure we can pull through. Very happy with the freebies i got from roma, wigan and sporting along with the free transfers

A good run of form over the past few months as the sqaud begins to settle. Chances in the leauge arent to shabby either. Celtic might have the legs on me at the top but as we stand top two finish isnt out of the question. No need to say who's the main man getting me to this position

Had a busyer than planned transfer window thanks too some bargain buys and some big offers from down south. Out went reject Tommy Wright along with first team players Mark Kerr to wolves for £2.5m and Charlie mulgrew to Burney for £2.4m. I didnt directly replace these players but reshuffled the team with what i had to fit in with two of my best signings in FM. Firstly i found Magnum and got him for 20k, expect him to be worth 100 times that at the end of the season. And even bigger than that Marek Suchy from Slavia prague for an incredible £575k - was uterly shellshocked at the price i had to pay never mind the fact he was interested. Only other change to the first team was that i brought in Granja Elder a brazilian right back as Maurice Ross hasnt live up to my expectations

final game up next we sit a point behind dundee utd who are away to Inverness so outside chance of a slip up there and Rangers are 2nd in all but name as there at home to dunfirmline with there points haul of 11 unlikley to be improved upon. Hearts are 3 points off us after loosing to st johnstone in the last roundor fixtures

4th place was in the end an acceptable result considering the amount of changes we made through the season and the drop of form in the second half of the season. With some smart moves in the summer we might find 3rd next year and thats what were after

Was aiming to make the group stages but didnt have much of chance once we drew everton so will have to hope we get a easyer draw next year

Didnt play we'll in any of our games and were lucky to escape through the group stages so improvment needed here

The semis were our target again and we achieved that but when we reached the last four and Rangers and Celtic were both out it was quite dissapointing to loose to motherwell but at least we met the target

What i've tryed to do is to buy in cheep or free players that are better than the ones i've got then sell them off for as much as i can get. Two main additions have to be Bozaglo and Rivas two additions i expect to push us into the top 3. anything else will be a failure this term

So the strength of the squad seems to have made a difference here. Really feel that this seasn we'll go far if our early season forms anything to go by
