AC MILAN 1 - 0 CSKA MOSCOW
AC Milan took a convincing lead after Daniel Van Buyten headed in from a Mesut Ozil corner which was built up beautifully. Tranquillo Barnetta collected man of the match and also featured in the team of the week along side Alexandre Pato.

AC MILAN 3 - 0 LAZIO

AC Milan welcomed Lazio to the San Siro with a early 1 o'clock kick-off. Tranquillo fired home a well worked goal with Tranquillo starting the move and then finishing it. Just before the half time whistle, Alexandre Pato hit home a definite goal of the month award. Stephan Lichtsteiner gave away a stupid penalty, but Hugo Lloris saved to his top left hand corner and pushed it away for a throw in. From that throw in, AC Milan countered and hit Lazio where it hurt, the back of the net, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar hit a superb strike from 30 yards out on the turn and the keeper had no chance. Despite one hiccup from former Lazio right back, Stephan Lichtsteiner, he still managed to gain the home and away fans appreciation by taking the man of the match award home. AC Milan take the top of the table, with only Inter Milan on the same points, AC Milan lead by 1 goal. Stephan Lichtsteiner, Tranquillo Barnetta, Alexandre Pato and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar all hit the team of the week board.

AC MILAN 2 - 0 LIVORNO
Holland-v-Scotland-001.jpg

AC Milan welcomed Livorno to the San Siro, on a pleasant saturday afternoon, and once again Alexandre Pato and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar ripped up the oppositions defence again. Tranquillo Barnetta took on the run of his life and ran from left back position all the way to the edge of the box, and released Alexandre Pato for a easy tap in at the near post. Once again, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar hit from 30 yards to put the game to bed and the keeper in shame. Klass-Jan Huntelaar collected man of the match. AC Milan stay stuck to the top of Serie A with Inter Milan slipping up against Cheivo, with leads Napoli to second place and AC Milan leading by 2 points. With six wins in a row, I hope but more for the same against Atletico Madrid on tuesday.

AC Milan 2-1 Fiorentina

A game in which we needed to win to stay top of the league. They seemed like a team that just wouldn't give up through-out the season and that was certainly reflected through the match. A good solid win for the lads.

AC Milan 1-0 Bologna

A game in which I'd have liked to have knocked a few goals in, but unfortunately we just couldn't score. Gourcuff came up with the goods with a long range effort just before half time

AC Milan 4-2 Parma

A good game for us where Pato excelled in the forward role scoring a hat-trick, proud of the team as we dominated in all areas. Just a slight blip in defence but with only 3 defenders fit, I was forced to play Flamini at full back.

Atletico Madrid 1 - 0 AC Milan

Atletico Madrid really told AC Milan how to do it, AC Milan played well today, despite one mistake for Alessandro Nesta which lead to a scrappy goal by Reyes. Despite that, they played well and Alexandre Pato missed one or 2 chances that should have been taken. Due to that, Yoann Gourcuff got the man of the match award.

Catania 0 - 1 AC Milan
Simone+Pepe.jpg

AC Milan scrap a win that should of been a walk in the park. A disturbing first half from AC Milan was lead for the manager to encourage his team, and it worked Simone Pepe scored in the 46th minute and AC Milan held a lead. Match of the match went to Hugo Lloris, he made some excellent safes and keep AC Milan in the game.

AC MILAN 4 - 0 CAGLIARI
pirlo.jpg

AC Milan come back into form after the past past poor appearances. Mesut Ozil took the lead from a volley from the edge of the box from a Tranquillo Barnetta corner. For the second goal, Tranquillo took advantage of there week spot, right back and came in from the left and placed into the bottom corner. Just before half time, Andrea Pirlo stole of the Cagliari defence and hit it first time, top corner. In the 65th minute Massimo Ambrosini finished a move he began and placed into the bottom right hand corner from a one-on-one against the keeper. Andrea Pirlo collected man of the match, with 2 assists and 1 goal. Stephan Lichtsteiner, Tranquillo Barnetta, Andrea Pirlo, and Massimo Ambrosini all made team of the week. AC Milan still hold first place by 3 points over Inter Milan.
