Andy Carroll is a ****, he has no right to call himself a Geordie. No matter how much money you get offered a true Geordie would never leave Newcastle.

But on FM: for one of my seasons at Newcastle he took forever getting started, must have waited well over 10 games for him to get on some scoring form, then it only lasted for a few games. I bought Lucas from a Brazilian side as he is valued £6 million+ and had a release fee of £3.6 million and he worked well with Carroll. But this was on the 11.2.1 update.

Just downloaded the 11.3 patch. He scored 2goals in 2matches. And will carry the burden to keep up those form as Suarez is injured for 6 weeks

Carroll sucks for me too.. Even Suarez sucks. i'm in 17'th place, the only people scoring for me are Gerrard, Meireles and Hazard once in a while. Personally, i think Carroll is overrated

He was rubbish for me also, to be fair im only in my first season at liverpool on the 11.3 patch (played 34 games) but chances are im going to sell him come the end of the season!

He has scored 8 in 30 for me, his assists have been around the 10 mark.

Ill be getting my thinking cap on for a replacement asap!

If you don't mind a young player who's going to develop then Lukaku often comes in at around £10 million, or Lacina Traore is cheaper. For me both have quickly become international players and they both make good target men, especially Traore. Hope that helps.

you can pick up gervinho fairly cheap, and he got 17 assists one season for me. mostly for Carrol.

You sure about Gervinho being c heap?

in my OM save, Man. City bought him for around 17 mil...

I find in my save that he is injured nearly all the time, and the games he plays he always picks up yellow/red cards!

Ha, all the bitter Newcastle fans. He's been good enough for me. Got 19 in 33 games.

And when considering my other two strikers.
Suarez - 11 in 36 games
Lavezzi - 7 in 24 games - but they mainly played as playmakers.

I told Carroll that i would put him in the transfer list if he kept playing horribly. He said he was going to do his best: 1 goal in 8 matches. Not good enough!

No I'm sorry you have it all wrong... Andy Carroll/His Agent was contacted by Liverpool. Andy Carroll then went to talk to Pardew about a new contract (despite signing a new one in October/November) he wanted the wage that Liverpool was offering (in the region of £70,000 and £90,000) and since Newcastle have a wage cap of about £40,000 Mike Ashley denied his request, THUS Andy Carroll getting sold to Liverpool. Just like every other footballer (except Del Piero) he only cares about money.

He was my first ever signing for Arsenal in this year's FM. He had an average rating of 7.28 in 14 backup games, scored 13 but didn't put enough pressure on van Persie.

Callum, may like to include Totti as well as Del Piero. And to both of you (especially namski as he may not know of Geordie passion), but no matter what the circumstances may be, a true Geordie would not leave Newcastle for anything, other than maybe a death-threat to their family.
