Signed him for Birmingham as a replacement for Zigic. Hasn't done much for me! Hardly scores and no assists.

Decideded to play him up front on his own and he has started scoring a few, not many though.

No I'm sorry you have it all wrong... Andy Carroll/His Agent was contacted by Liverpool. Andy Carroll then went to talk to Pardew about a new contract (despite signing a new one in October/November) he wanted the wage that Liverpool was offering (in the region of £70,000 and £90,000) and since Newcastle have a wage cap of about £40,000 Mike Ashley denied his request, THUS Andy Carroll getting sold to Liverpool. Just like every other footballer (except Del Piero) he only cares about money.

Just to add to that, Pardew and Ashley had agreed they'd review his contract in the summer and give him the wages he deserves IF he continued his form from the first half of the season into the second. Carroll rejected that offer and demanded the contract there and then which wasn't on and rightly so as Pardew stated he had player contract lengths to worry about first (ie Barton, Enrique) rather than the contract amounts of players. Carroll then demanded to speak to Liverpool, where he was told if he wanted that then he had to write it on paper formally, as of which he did. So any of this bollocks coming from Carroll saying he was asked to hand in a transfer request etc, yes, he was asked to do that, IF he wanted to go.

Stop the Andy Carroll hate! The guy even said he didn't want to leave Toon but was forced out by one of your directors/Chief execs. That doesn't mean im believing him but i have no doubt he could become the best target man of all time. Even better than the man himself Gabriel Batistuta!!

Comparing Carroll to Batistuta? take your red tinted glasses off. Thats like me saying Micah Richards is the next Cafu. You took it way too far.

Callum, may like to include Totti as well as Del Piero. And to both of you (especially namski as he may not know of Geordie passion), but no matter what the circumstances may be, a true Geordie would not leave Newcastle for anything, other than maybe a death-threat to their family.

On my Liverpool save Carroll Scored 2 for me in the first game for me but from then on only managed to get another 3 goals by january... So i transfer listed Carroll and bought Benzema for 8 Million but i have to pay him £95,000 a week But no one yet has bought Carroll i put the asking price down to 20 Million

carroll is underrated severely on fm and therefore i don't like using carroll on fm11. It seems people think carroll is great on the game just because he had a good half a season irl. However, i have a feeling he might hopefully get a serious stat boost in fm 12.
