Arsenal beginning of first season. Who should I buy? (And sell)

Yeah mate, semi final last season, and won the league :) I sold a bunch of players again though, but the team is trim, and young and playing very well.
 
I wouldn't get my squad too young if I were you. XD But up to you. XD Good to see you got Erik Lamela. :D Hes been a beast for me on my 4th season. He was a little beast on my 2nd and 3rd season but my 4th... He is currently irreplaceable and he suddenly start developing very quickly... From a super slow development he suddenly jump at the start of the season, 2 and a half star CA to 3 and a half star... Really amazing. It seems to me like squad competition brings out the best of the players... Not sure if you notice the same things...

Definitely noticed it Wanyama was slacking off around a 7.1 average, replaced him with Jordy Clasie as a DMC, and Clasie averaged 7.3, noticed we were conceding more and Wanyama started averaging 7.5-7.7 again :)
 
Just finished first season with Arsenal. Finished in BPL 3rd position, lost Champions League final against Man. City on penalties.

Bought these players: M'Villa, Corchia, F. Ferreyra, Fierro (and loaned him), Verratti.

Also sold these players like Arshavin, Squillaci and other. In the end of the season sold Gervinho, because he haven't been in my plans, Podolski was injured for some time 3-4 months, so I need to strengh my left flank.

What should I choose:

A.Ayew £15,8 m or C.Vela £3,8 m?

If you are talking about left wing, I would reccomend 2 other player who is around ayew price range and better than ayew.

Player : Erik Lamela
Club : AS Roma
He is a really good player. You got to keep playing him tho. Since you are currently on your second season, he isn't as beast yet... But if he develops well, on your 3rd season on, he should be a real beast on your left flank. I use a inside forward with a attacking role for him and on my 4th season, He bang in 12 goals along with 24 assists in 24 appearance. He was more of a sub for my team but now on my 5th season he is my first choice already.

Player: Andriy Yarmolenko
Club : Dynamo Kyiv
Well he is a really good winger as well. I never got a chance to use him since Real Madrid bought him over... If he is still at dynamo, he shouldn't be costing you so much maybe around ayew range.

This is just my personal preference but honestly I wouldn't go for vela or ayew to strengthen my left flank if I were you... Also I don't think vela is ready for champions cup...
 
I can't afford Lamela, because his price tag - £39 M, so I will try with Yarmolenko, but talking about Velo, I think it would be great deal because I cant buy him for 3,7 M and set on loan or after season sell for ~11 M

Yarmolenko chosen Liverpool over Arsenal :)

Well, I decided to buy both of them and I think it was good decision, because I haven't lost this season and both of them are very good and quality asset to the squad.

I just finished a match versus first place - Liverpool

Result: Arsenal 8-1 Liverpool and now after 7 played matches AFC in the first place with 17 pts

It was a vital victory. Ayew and Vela scored also and made asists (Y)

Major benefit to signing Vela he doesn't cost 3.7, he actually only costs 1.8 because Arsenal get 50% of next sale haha.
 
Lol XD I never tried vela before but if you are looking for a cheap CM look no further to enzo reale... He is an awesome CM... Never use him but he help FC Lorient win the french Cup... Beating PSG in the final on my save. Don't look at his star rating... He is a unbelievable player.
 
Now I have and Verratti and Poli in midfield, but for now they are for rotation. And about Vela I was cancelled bid, release clause is not 1,5, 3,5, so I made decision to buy him and now He is one of the top goalscorers.
 
Well, this midfield would be good cover for some players and good rotation, for example Arteta is 31 or 32 yrs old, but he is still one of the best players, so it would be the dillema in the end of the season what should I do with him or sell, or not.

Rotation because the schedule of Premier League is very intensive. Now I am in the first place and also I reached the Champions League final after dramatic comeback in the second match 1/2 final vs Lyon.

I lost to Lyon away 4-1 and Won at Emirates 6-0. I think it's amazing comeback.

Sorry for double post. Just wanted to post about my season end. It was very good, so I've won Premier League and also Champions League against Bayern. The match started tragic for me, Bayern scored 3 goals, I thought it was the end, but 85 min. Wilshere scored late goal, after a minute sub Theo scored another, and on the additional time Giroud came off the bench scored 3rd goal.

On ET Theo and Gibbs was injured, so I've played -2 players, but after that Verminator scored 4th match goal and it was golden goal.
