Great stuff...

Only good thing I can take from this is RVP didn't get injured. We were so poor in the air, every high ball we lost the first and the second ball, the only person getting our second balls was Wilshere and he's one of smallest guys on the pitch.

Newcastle played well but it's so annoying to lose to a stupid set-piece.

Ohhhhh Newcastle we love you....

Arsenal 0-1 Newcastle FT.

Great performance from Newcastle. Newcastle have got to give Chris Houghton a new contract now surely.

The only positive from this match is Andy Carroll's performance and goal. He's rising quickly and it won't be long before he's at a big club, surely.

As for the result... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIj-6fr2SlI"]YouTube - D:ream "Things can only get better"[/ame]

WTF WAS THAT ARSENAL? :'(

we were truly awfull and it would have been 0-0 if it wasnt for Fabianski's mistake :'(

Not that it mattered, but can someone explain why Koscielny was sent off? He wasn't the last man, Ranger went down very easily, and it wasn't anything like a clear goalscoring opp.

Well Done to Newcastle, who had one shot on target and won 1-0. Arsenal really need to improve and soon or we'll be properly out of the title race before Christmas :'(

Fabregas was awful, so was Chamakh and Walcott.

Andy Carroll is a baaabe! What a goal, FC, get him in the next England squad.

He was the last man.

Bollocks he was. He's about 5 yards from the touchline and about 30 yards out, with Squillaci covering, who gets into the area about half a second after Koscielny "pulls back" Ranger, who makes the most of it to say the least.

Even if Koscielny was the last man (which he wasn't) - How was it a goalscoring opportunity? He wouldn't be one on one, and it's 30 yards out.

Still, didn't make a difference and we should have been much better.

He was the last man. Ranger and Koscielny were ahead of everyone, Ranger is racing clear and would be one on one had he not been hauled back. He's 30 yards out, but would have run into the open space. Squillaci was on the half way line behind Ranger and Koscielny, so for me it was the correct decision, but as you say it didn't make much difference.

wasnt a last man squil would have got ranger
