Team News Arsenal

Arsenal's Denilson and Marouane Chamakh have overcome the minor injuries they picked up against Leeds in midweek. Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski will again be out with his shoulder problem.
Injured: Almunia (ankle), Diaby (calf), Fabianski (shoulder), Frimpong (knee), Squillaci (hamstring), Vermaelen (Achilles)

Team News Wigan Athletic
Wigan pair Victor Moses and James McCarthy are back in training after long-term injuries but are unlikely to feature this weekend.
Goalkeeper Chris Kirkland has recovered from his head injury but manager Roberto Martinez may stick with Ali Al Habsi in goal.
Doubtful: McCarthy (ankle), Moses (shoulder)
Injured: Cleverley (hamstring)

Match Preview
Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw by Wigan last month and failure to beat the Latics at the Emirates would be a big blow for their title hopes
The Gunners are two points behind leaders Manchester United, having played a game more. With no league fixture for 10 days after this, they will want to ensure they keep the pressure on both Manchester United and Manchester City.

Wigan are in need of points at the other end of the table. They were all set to move clear of the relegation zone last week but conceded a late equaliser against fellow strugglers Fulham.
As a result, Roberto Martinez's side find themselves in the bottom three, just below Aston Villa on goals scored. Their form has been good, with one defeat in their last seven, but an inability to finish teams off is proving costly.

Random Match Facts

Isn't Saturday (Tomorrow) the 22nd?

Poll's a bit specific too, shouldn't their be a "Other" option?

Jesus your polls suck. Why must there always be a poll?

Sam you really think Wigan will Win 1-0?

3-0 Arsenal. Can see Walcott having a good game if he plays.

Since the poll is too specific, I will go for 3-0 Arsenal.

Their win from Leeds should carry on into giving Wigan a beatdown.

Sorry about the poll and the crappy options :(

Lol, this.

Arsenal should win this one, home form has been patchy at best but we're on a high after WHU and Leeds wins, Wigan shouldn't pose too much of a threat tbh

As long as our trio of RVP , Nasri and Fab are on field i'm confident we will win.

Arsenal 5 (Walcott x2, Van Persie, Fabregas, Nasri)
Wigan 0

If we play like we did against Hammers or Leeds, we have a great chance of scoring a bundle.

Expected line ups..

This one looks easy for Arsenal, perhaps too easy. Having breezed past West Ham and – in the FA Cup – Leeds, Arsène Wenger's side would appear to be in the right frame of remind to offer the Emirates a repetition of last season's 4-0 frolic against a Wigan team with only four league wins this season and facing another struggle to stay up. Nevertheless, Roberto Martínez's defence is proving more resilient on its travels, conceding eight goals fewer than at the DW Stadium, and Arsenal will not want to squander too many chances while the home fans again grow restless. Going for an Arsenal win. Although Wigan hopefully will make it difficult for them!
