You've got it wrong.
The first screenshot belongs to the Second Round, the second to the final round.
In the final round there are two groups, where the best two of each group qualify directly while the thrids duke it out between them in order to get the play-off spot that grants the 5th and final Asian spot for world cup.
Interesting read so far (as usual I arrived too late and missed it ¬¬), kind of surprised to see that no one has made it to the first national team yet since stats wise seem to be ready to fit into the first team quite nicely.
