More defensive solidity, removing an anonymous Oezil. Interesting. Will allow attacking players more freedom as well as allowing the full-backs to roam forwards without leaving the defence as exposed, Marcelo in particular.

Ok, ok read through the ZM article now and realised ;)

suprised he didnt do this from the start, away from home

Messi should've slid in Villa a few minutes ago, as good a player he is he and Ronaldo share the same fatal flaw. Greed.

Playing three deep-lyers would have ensured Xavi had lots of time on the ball though, and considering his impact on this fixture in recent years (and now this one as well, ironically) it's best to keep him tracked.

None of the billion streams work for me. Or they aren't free, or they require software, or they just don't load. Hmpf :(

Madrid can't find their men with simple 10 yard passes whereas Barcelona are picking Madrid with ease.

interesting to see how much Barcelona are pressing compared to Madrid sitting deep.

GAME OVER: DAVID VILLA!
CMON YOU BARCELONAAAAAA!

Get in, What a ball through, what a finish!

Watching a Spanish stream and for Xavi's chance then the commentary was "XAAAAAAAAAAVI, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, oh no". Great stuff.

In terms of the game, Madrid just can't get near Barca at the moment. As a neutral with no support whatsoever for either club, I'd like to see Madrid grab a goal t- Villa, 3-0, game over.

Goooollololololololooooollll !!!!! Congrats Pep, you've got the game in your pocket ;)
