So the new season gets underway with Ter Stegen still injured so one of our very young keepers is in the side for the moment whilst Bartra has all but pushed ageing Vermaelen and Mathieu out of the side, the other big change i can see coming this season is Samper taking over from Iniesta who is 34 years old now.

We had the perfect start to the new season beating Real 4-2 at home before sneaking a 2-1 win in the 2nd leg at their place to secure another Cup.

So not only did Valencia spend over £50Million on players they also got a couple of bargain free transfers in Belhanda and Oliver, whilst the Major Failed transfer was Arsenal coming in for Grimaldo!

6 wins from 6 in the league including putting 9 past Almeria whilst Rivas and Nicieza have both been in good form so far this season with our only blip the 2-2 draw against Porto in the Champions League.

In Europe we put 4 past Steau before a convincing 3-0 win at home against Man Utd but they turned us over back at Old Trafford and ended the November with a decent 2-0 win thanks to a couple of Neymar goals against Porto to all but secure our place in the next round.
Our only blip was in the local derby against Espanyol as we won our other 6 league games including putting 5 past Real Madrid and beating At Madrid too.

The majority of the Spain squad play their football outside of Spain now with Real Madrid having just one player whilst we have 4 players in the starting lineup and the likes of Rivas, Samper and Roberto in the squad.

I had the perfect start to life as Spain boss beating France and Belgium home and away in the European Nations League whilst we beat Sweden in a friendly but ended the year with a bore draw against Ecuador.

We make the Semi Finals of the European Nations League along with Denmark, Greece and Italy and the likes of England and Belgium got relegated.

I would throw a sneaky bid in for Ronaldo just to have him and Messi in the same team and see what damage they cause! Your the first person on here ive seen win a world cup! Congrats!

Yeah man thats the hope a bit gutted in a way that i just called up a centre back that i let go in the first season with Barca!

I know man its the first World Cup i have ever won! Holland are full of youngsters full of potential though i feel it will be more long term with Spain as a lot of their players are getting on and their are not the same level as replacements as Holland. thanks for reading guys.

Well we started the month badly with a loss to Elche in the league, we thrashed a lower league team in the cup over two legs with Rivas and the rest of my youngsters getting a chance to shine. We won our other 3 league games and also beat Marbella in Busquets Testimonial 9-0 but he was injured still and unable to play!

Spanish Cup

We faced Villareal in the 5th rnd and all but ended the tie in the first leg beating them 6-1 at our place before our second string could only manage a 0-0 draw at their place.
We then got a tought Quarter Final draw against At Madrid but comfortably beat them 3-1 over two legs with MSN getting the goals.
We had a much easier draw in the Semi Finals as we beat Levante 4-0 home and away to set up another Spanish Cup Final and another Final against Real Madrid

So along with our Cup Exploits we won 7 out of 8 La Liga matches including putting 8 past Villareal and Pedro really stepping up in place of the injured Suarez but we did lose to Valencia in a shocking match and ended February with a 2-1 win against Napoli in Italy to set us up well for the home leg.

Only the 1 point clear of Real Madrid now after the recent Valencia loss but i feel like we have been in good form and have almost reached the 100 league goals mark already whilst Messi has 34 league goals himself already about twice is many as his closest rival for the Golden Boot.

ha thanks mate, i play around 60 games a season with Barca and another 12 or so with a National team so it hasnt taken too long to rack up the matches would love to as a personal goal for the save top all of the hall of fame charts and get a 1000 games in charge.

Champions League

We beat Napoli 4-1 at our place to set up an all Spanish Quarter Final in the Champions League against At Madrid, we beat them 3-1 away from home thanks to a Messi hattrick before Neymar got the only goal of the game in the return leg and we made it to the Semi Finals.
We then lost to Benfica 2-0 in Portugal before coming roaring back in the 2nd leg at the Camp Nou getting 2 goals back in normal time to set up extra time were Halilovic, Iniesta and Bartra all scored to secure a place in the Champions League Final for the 3rd time since i took over.

We have drawn Man City in the Champions League Final a team that won it 2 years ago against Chelsea in an All English Final their key players include Kovacevic, Lucas Romero and Kevin Volland.

A comfortable victory really as Vermaelen and Suarez both score early on and even Roberto missing a penalty didnt matter as i win my 5th straight Spanish Cup and 3rd Final win over Real Madrid.

Well we dominated the game but just couldnt find the back of the net until extra time when Messi scored a penalty and then another wonder goal before Iniesta grabbed a third before half time in extra time, They scored a penalty of their own but it wasnt enough as we secure my second Champions League since taking over!

So after a poor season last year it was obviously down to Injuries as MSN were on fire this year as we secure the Quadruple of Spanish Super Cup, Spanish Cup, Champions League and La Liga.

Costa and Destro went back and forth with goals and it went all the way to penalties and we won after a massive 19-20 win on penalties with Chiellieni missing the all important sudden death penalty for Italy.

Costa scored early on before Eriksen equalized around 10 minutes later and we had plenty of chances to win the game in normal time but couldnt capitalize on any of them until extra time when CB Martinez grabbed the winner!

I know man im hoping Messi doesnt retire until at least 40! Neymar is only 27 but seems like hes been around for ever
