Pretty much yeah. And if Barcelona have to sit on him, they agree he is still a quality, classy player-pace or lack of pace

What I said is that if Carrick goes for a tackle and doesn't succeed, he is very slow to get up take his position. I said Carrick does his job well just that he needs a hassler with him and another creative midfielder.

none of which are really available tonight, so how is that a tactical fail? anderson has been on and off, and fletcher is barely fit

and I'm apparently and idiot child because I disagree with you? I just don't understand how you can't have seen how bad Giggs has been

becuase he hasnt been that bad. hasnt been great either mind. been very quiet, but had decent spells

Hard to believe Messi is only 23 with the way he can cut through a midfield/defence like butter. God knows how good he'll be when he's 26/27. Beyond world class

In hindsight, after a few years people will say that there were players on the bench who could have done that job but weren't played. Just like people remember how Carrick was very poor in 09 without looking at other factors.
 
I didn't expect Manchester to lose 3:1... 2:1 maybe, 1:0 yeah, even 3:2, but not really 3:1... I wanted United to win but oh well... what can ya do... congrats to the winners anyhow
 
Hooray, 3-1 my prediction was correct. Man United can take pride from how well they did this season in the league and Champions league though.
 
My 2 Cents. Barcelona dominated. Expected that. Man Utd played as best they could. VDS maybe could of done a bit more with 2nd goal, and Nani could of done better defensively, but when you play against Barcelona, who just hog the ball 80% of the match, It's hard to go forward and attack.
United did well, but were beaten by magical player, and a good team.
 
Good match, amazing performance from Barca. Honestly expected more from United, but not necessarily expected them to try and dominate it, just to have got more on the counter attack.

in hinsight they'd still be wrong. doesnt change the fact that anderson is blowing hot and cold, fletcher is unfit

Barca were simply the better team right across the pitch
