Bilbao through in Europe
Malaga thrash Real Madrid 4-1
Espanyol and Las Palmas change managers
Spain lose 2 friendlies
Some decent results were to be had in November. Good wins over Valencia and Atletico Madrid plus an amazing comeback against Sporting Lisbon as we were 3 down after 72min! Youngster Alfredo is really developing nicely and will be in the first team squad next season methinks. Perez Villaroya and De la Torre are doing fine jobs also.

A good month, winning every game but not very convincingly it has to be said. I suppose young players can be inconsistant so maybe thats why we are winning by the odd goal rather than by 3 or 4!

Club stalwart Oscar De Marcos leaves for Villarreal for £4m
Antoine Griezmann arrives from FC Porto for £2m
Francisco Jesus loan deal from Villarreal made permanent for £2.3m
Aitor Herrera claims both World Player of the Year gongs again
We keep chugging along however unconvincing the performances are we still keep winning (for the most part)! Got a great win away to Real Madrid but then 2 games later we lost to Barca unfortunately. In the Copa del Rey new signing Antoine Griezmann scored on his debut against his first club Real Sociedad in the derby!
I saw Griezmann was transfer listed for £2m so snapped him up after I got a bid for Oscar De Marcos. De Marcos was a great player for me who played everywhere on the pitch for me at one point except gk and cd! In total for Bilbao he made 246 apps scoring 38 goals under my management.

Garcia dropped - Sanz takes over up front
Spain beaten by Malia
Decent month. Went 2 down to Levante before battling back to draw. Had over 30 attempts at goal and still Garcia couldnt score so I gave Sanz a go against Real Madrid to great effect! Two fantastic 6-0 wins in the league was let down by another 2-2 draw when we came back from 2 down again but this time we had a goal disallowed also. 12pts clear!

Derby day defeat for Los Leones
Bilbao knock out Benfica - Arsenal up next in quarter finals
Only 1 decent player in this years youth take
10 man Spain thrash San Marino
The good parts of the month were over shadowed by the disaterous derby match against Real Sociedad - at least Garcia scored at last! The rest of the month was really comfortable to be honest. This years youth intake was pretty poor with one potential decent player (4 stars) - unfortunately he is an AMC which of course is Aitor Herrera's position and I have about 6 other decent young AMCs in the youth ranks already!
Real Sociedad 3-1 Athletic Bilbao Garcia (pen)

UEFA Champions League 1st Round 2nd Leg Athletic Bilbao 3-1 Benfica Barandiaran, Mongongu (og), San Jose

A crazy game. When I picked my team Sergio Ramos and Azpilicueta required a rest and they were my only 2 right backs in the squad. Played Ekiza there and he got a rating of 5.8. Mali were 3 up at half time and had a goal disallowed but at the end of the game the stats showed they only had 2 shots on goal as we scored 2 own goals while we had about 25 shots on goal!
Bilbao secure league title with 6 games left to play
Arsenal knock out Bilbao in Champions League
Man Utd thrash Barca 7-0 in Champions League
Mallorca relegated
Lost our hold of the Champions League trophy with an away goals defeat to Arsenal. Pretty gutting to be honest. Real Madrid and Barcelona also fell at the same stage. We wrapped the league up with a win against Mallorca and will field a lot of youngsters in the final few league games.
