Plymouth have landed young striker Ross Whitehead from Alfreton on a free transfer.

Alfreton will receive a compensation fee of £14,750 as part of the deal.

Whitehead was named the Vanarama National League North Golden Boot winner in 2019/20 during his time playing for Alfreton.

Whitehead rejected the offers from West Bromwich Albion, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham, AFC Bournmouth and numerous other teams.

Plymouth finished the season 20th in League Two and are looking to add some firepower.

Blackpool have signed Loki Wodensson from Altrincham on a free transfer.

Altrincham will receive a compensation fee of £9,750 as part of the deal.

The former Altrincham man has already ecpressed his determination to do well for the club and impress his new manager.

Wodensson rejected offers from Huddersfield Town, Plymouth Argyle and Newport County.

Blackpool finished 5th last season but lost on penalties in the League One play-off final.

Warrington was Chester's top scorer so far and hopes to be among the goals at his new club.
