So, 20 of you signed up in the Be A Pro (Register Now!) thread. Now, it begins :)

I will update every 2 months on each of your players, with a separate update for the summer/pre-season.

The poll, quite frankly, couldn't have been any worse :p 25 people voted when there should only have been 21 (since TheShots managed to get himself caught as FM10Spurs, genius, with Mike taking his place ;)) 13 people voted for the story with the competition while 12 voted for just story, so as many people as possible have come off worse :p

Thank you :)

Looking forward to this.

I wonder who is gonna win :p

I think a midfielder should get more points for a goal than a striker, and a defender more than a midfielder?

maybe, 3-2-1 from defender to striker?

1 point per shot on target is a bit generous, maybe every 5 or 10? Also I don't think that strikers (and maybe midfielders) should get credit for a clean sheet. Goalkeepers should get points for saves as well.

Sorry what? :p

I wanted to do that but I can't find that statistic anywhere. Am I being thick?

goals: 3 points per defender 2 for midfielders 1 for strikers

ive not seen stats for how many saves a keeper makes, i assume you would take the oppostiions number of shots on target then subtract any goals conceded?

That simple? :$

if you do that then take the 10 points every 50 minutes off

The way I did the points was like this. You buy a striker to score, you buy a defender to defend and keep clean sheets, you buy a goalkeeper to do the same and a midfielder to pass and assist. So you get rewarded for doing your job. You know what I mean?

I think some of you may misunderstand. The minutes conceded thing is in a row. For example at the beginning of matches it says so and so hasn't conceded in however many minutes of football. For every 50 mins he gets 10 points.

i see what you mean. to be honest we could all come up with different idea's. think its best that you go with what you think is best.

Gaffer i understand what you mean with the keppers but that is to generous bacuase for every clean sheet they are getting at least 20 points which is like impossible for every other position

Going to be hard for me as a defensive midfielder haha.
