Great tactic but really struggling away?? Help!

currently using V3 at the moment with, works very well at home and winning those games pretty comfortably; however i just cannot buy a win away, 2 away wins from 10 with the tactic - creating a fair few chances but Hazard, Dybala ( my strikers) are not finishing them off, also conceding a ton of goals due to crosses/balls over the top from wingers/wingbacks having a lot more space due to having no wingers and playing narrow- i'm not sure how this tactic prevents me from being attacked especially down the left hand side as i'm getting torn apart even against the less stronger away teams :S .... any tips?? Could really use some help

Andre Gray ... THE BEAST!

Best tactic i`ve played in FM17 by far, keeps producing sensational football with all kind of teams, doesn`t matter if it`s small or big club.
No more testing other tactics, this is the real deal guys!

What player ppm has gray and hendricks got?

Retrained them to shoot with power. Done that for all my players, even my defenders.
After that i go for get forward whenever possible for my WBs, CMs and the front men.
Why? Because this tactic is very well balanced, love the way those 3CD don`t loose shape and they clear most of the high balls and stop the counter attacks.
I`m playing the second season, conceded only 4 goals in 13 games including C League.

When you say 'shape tweaks', do you mean the physical positions or changing from Flexible to fluid or structured say... ?

The latter. With this tactic and since it's a youth development save it made me worry less with tactical issues thanks to V4. However in leagues where you're supposed to win 99% of the games you can often go a full match without more than 1 key highlights. That happens when opposition uses 2 or 3 defensive mids. Because of that i got some compromising draws against poor teams but it made the league more exciting.

Now when the first half goes like that, i try to watch the game a bit more on comprehensive and change fluidity to rigid if i want to stretch play a bit more or fluid if i want to compress.

have had a lot of success switching to overload late in the game if needing a goal.often the AI just cant cope with the movemnet and numbers going forward

You retrain your players regardless their age?

guys, any tips to tie down the defence? get 2-0 advantage - and after couldn't stop opponents from equalizing. Plaing in lower italian division with a ****** team. That's why no shouts or changing to contain metality help :(

Testing the V4 with PSV in holland my feeling says V4 is in defence more stable than the V3.

Buth have played 10 games now onley got 1 goal conceded. Won 9games and draw 1 game.
Onley loaned two CB further no transfers onley using own youth.

1st season. I've just beat in FA Cup against Spurs (1-1 and 0-2) and Watford (1-5). I play Crew Alexandra. Simply Amazing!

Hi all

What is your experience with very low level league (for example the Vanarama North\South or the italian tier 7)? I mean...with team of higher level league a lot of tactics are good (knap, park the bus and obviously beast) even if you are underdog but with very low level league all the tactics fail to work (not completely but I don't have the same certain of victory that I have for example with Inter Milan). For example beast and knap (in my opinion the best tactics for now) relay a lot on the possesion out of the box until a nice pass reaches the wingback or the strikers. Unfortunately with low level league team a lot of time the players fail in this possesion and the opponent score with a counter attack or something similar.

So...to recap...what do you suggest to do with a team of a low level league?
