Tested with Rennes, Sporting CP and Real Madrid. Results are pretty good but DLF's are completely useless and also too much long shots.

Testing with Empoli

Tactic working very good with Empoli so far, 8 games played in Serie A, 5 wins 3 draws, sitting at 2nd place with 18 pts, Juventus 3rd with 17 pts, Roma 1st with 19 pts. Goals scored - 13, goals against - 2 (all goals conceded in draws!)

Wins vs Bologna (2-0), Sassuolo (0-1), Genoa (3-0), Fiorentina (0-3) and Pescara (0-2)
Draws vs Juventus (0-0 away), Milan (1-1 home), Cagliari (1-1 home)

Team playing extremely well, defending well and picking up 17 yellow cards, which may sound a bit much but really isnt, approx 2 yellows per game, not a single red.

Tactic works wonders with this small team, only brought in 1 player - Ivan (WBR) for 2.3M from Levante after selling my WBR Laurini to Milan for 4.8M.

i've tested it a bit with empoli, to be fair - almost every team is a bigger team than empoli in serie a, predicted finish is 17th. didnt need to change anything to hold on to a lead, the team has ridicoulously high possesion stats it just doesnt make any sense to change anything to preserve lead when the opposing team hardly gets a feel of the ball...

thanks thats interesting.... I find with some really strong opponents I can sometimes struggle a bit to keep the possession stats up and feels like I need something more solid in certain games even if it costs some chances

Hey guys! Great forum! I'm having relatively mixed success with the v4 tactic so far...

I'm currently Chelsea at the moment, won every game at home but really struggling away from home, no wins in 6 away games despite having more chances & not being clinical but really being punished by awful defending/gaps in defence..

Do you guys set up any differently away? with the same OI's? I seem to be always exploited via crosses on the wings or through balls to their striker through the middle, and midfielders seem to be bypassed with no one closing down/winning challenges

Could anyone please offer an explanation of how the team wins the ball back and how they play away?...in particular how to nullify quick strikers from receiving through balls/crosses and stop the wingers from bypassing my fullbacks

Really enjoying the attacking side of the tactic aside from not being clinical away...just the defending is horrible and always conceding

Brilliant tactics, to make it more solid, change d middle CM to defend duty and the CMR & CML to roaming playmaker.
Also include get stuck in to the instructions.

Just won the treble with Rangers, beating Celtic by a 12 point margin in the league.
First half of season using V3 and then switching between V3 & V4 for the second part of the season. undecided which is better. V4 seems more solid but i feel for my team & players V3 suits us better mainly because of the AMC Position.

Waghorn scored 23 league goals and Garner scored 21 league goals. i feel if i had better strikers with better passing/vision and finishing i could've gone undefeated as the 8 games i drew and 4 i lost i completely killed the opposition, mostly losing because of wonder goalkeepers or conceding due to set pieces and giving away penalty's for pushing in the box, must've happened at least 6 times.

Started using this with Villa in the last couple months of my 4th season. Was sitting 16th in a relegation battle, finished 10th. First game using the tactic was EL 1/4 against Dortmund, destroyed them 5-0.

V1 is doing better for me. My team( Juventus) plays better attacking football and i am not leaking goals.
