A wealthy Luxembourgian investor (and huge FM fan) has decided he is tired of today's generation of managers. He has taken it upon himself to set up his own league, the Football Managers Invitational League, and is looking for the best of the best of an unknown crop of managers. This is where you come in. An invitation has been extended to you to submit a resum? for his consideration, to take control of a team in this newly formed competition.

There will, however, be rules. Each manager will be allocated a 23-man squad, and enough balance to cover the running of the squad/club for a year. There will be no transfer budget for the first season, but prize money will be huge. Each club will be allocated a standard 20,000 seater stadium, and good facilities, which may be improved upon. The investor does ask, however, that each manager name their own club and stadium, as well as have some input into kit design.


Basically guys, I'm looking for people to take up this fantasy league, as a manager rather than a player, and see how they fare with a random squad. I'll be using the FUThead (FIFA 14 Ultimate Team Squad Builder & FUT 14 Database | Futhead) random player generator to make up the squads, so they're all relatively well-matched, allocating each team as follows:

5 Gold standard players
10 Silver
8 Bronze

It will all be completely random, so there is the distinct possibility that someone will get Messi, or someone else might get a team of CB's and no keeper :p

As much as I'd love it to be, it'd be too difficult to organise everyone to play on a regular basis and make progress. Instead, I'm looking to create in game versions of people as managers, similar to what people do with the become a player stories.
