Samuel is a very good defender, hes not that quick, but with a quick CB as his partner hes really effective, amazing tackler

Geromel - Koln (best covering defender in the game by far, a must buy)
Martin Demicheilis - Bayern
David Luiz - Benfica
Thiago Silva - Ac Milan
Holger Badstuber - Bayern (becomes best defender in like 3 years)

then you usuals, Vidic and Terry

Nelson Rivas - usually available on a free after couple of seasons and has never failed for me at any club.
Holger Badstuber - class even in 2020
Darnel Situ - a top defender in 5-6 seasons

Not to mention the obvious ones like Pique, Terry, Ferdinand, Chiellini, Sakho, Otamendi.......
