Im not bothered about getting under your skin, at the end of the day, this is a forum :s why do i care what you think about the team i support, or the players in it!
I just highly disagreed with what you think is right, with not much to base it on. You don't watch him throughout the season do you? Only seeing highlights of McFadden! , i see every minute he plays, football is about opinion but who's is more valid in this instance really..? I wouldn't accept a blues fans opinion of him if they don't go down the ground and watch him week in week out, so im not going to accept yours.

A lot of players lack stamina but don't get criticised and actually i can name many occasions where he has been the man to get us 3 points and dig something out of nothing, with a top class free kick, or moment of brilliance to put someone through. All players frustrate fans in one way or another it depends on how you look at the player. I have opinions on players that are probably totally inaccurate but once you have an opinion its hard to change it.

Barry Ferguson is a lot better than i expected, at first i thought wouldn't keep up with the tempo of the premiership game. But i think he has a lot of class about his play. Passing ability second to none! tackling, hard and well timed the majority of the time, exactly what you want in the middle of the park. Unfortunately for him he is going a bit unnoticed and unsung down here at St andrews, with Roger Johnson becoming a revelation at the back with Scott Dann and Lee the main man Bowyer banging in a goal every game. What i am really pleased with his how Ferguson and Bowyer compliment each others games in the middle of the park, they are such a well matched paring. Very good compilation from big Eck!

I know i am not going to change your opinion of him i was just putting my point across and you seem to be taking it in a bad way. I do see enough of him though to be honest. Football first show a good chunk of every match and surely that's enough to have a valid say...that and i have watched him at Everton and of course Motherwell and Scotland.

I do agree with you that McFadden has his moments and alot of them do turn out to be important moments. I also see where you are coming from regarding how we all look at players. Being a Birmingham fan perhaps it's hard to look at things from a neutral view ? Or maybe because i have a strong dislike for the lad i fog out any good in him.

I always thought Ferguson would do well and every time i see him he does a job. Nice bit of business.
 
Personally I think Fads is a top player, great technique and a good heart.
 
I would say i agree that maybe me being a blues fan can change my opinion, but i have always liked Fads when he was at Everton i thought he was very much miss treated and whenever i was Everton on Fifa, Fm i would put him in. And i always do look at things from a neutral perspective believe me you have to supporting the blues!!! Success doesn't happen for us ever! I can criticise a lot of the blues team that is just one player that i don't think i can, he has too much ability, and has stayed too loyal to my team to do so. And i can't knock his performances on a a a general view.
David Murphy, Martin Taylor, Garry O'Connor, Gary McSheffrey, Marcus Bent are wastes of space in the prem. and should be got rid of immediately! They have served the club the best they can, Sheffas doing well in his first season, but they just havent cut it overall!

See again... i hate this commercialising football. Football first is still highlights. People used to say Thierry henry is incredible what a play etc etc. I have said the same. When he was at the top of his game and came to St Andrews the first season we made it in the Premier league i was AMAZED with him! I saw things i had never seen before, his off the ball movement was astonishing!

McFadden although to a lot lesser effect, im not comparing him to henry in his hay day lol. Fads effects the play all over the pitch, for one teams are wary of him wherever we go, he always has two men on him, and still finds space. As i go home and away all season have done for a while, i am one of those stubborn fans unfortunately that doesn't agree with all these changes to match times because of tv, and loads of highlights on tv. And to be honest it never seems the same game at all on the likes of match of the day, there is always something key that they miss out, especially with blues as were usually close to the back.

Although you see a lot of the game, you follow the ball unless andy gray is messing about with his rewind button on the last word. Although i do value your opinion to be fair, being scottish have watched him a fair bit nationally. He has done some great things for your country you have to admit? and in terms of Motherwell he has come a long long way since then. I think he can still get better, just needs the confidence.

And ye Ferguson, one of the best centre mids iv seen down here, class act.

i like to type lol, nah just once you get me going thats it then. And ye entitled to your opinion, a lot of people don't rate our players, thats why they have played us and underestimated us and got turned over lol.

Like Man City for instance lol, luckiest team to come out with a draw from St Andrews so far this season :p

And ye Johnson and Dann FANTASTIC! Chucho needs a partner

Back to McFadden.....

You are right he looks like he can do so much better and i do agree you see so much more when you are at the game.

Gary O'Conner HAHA another bad signing. I hope he does not make any dodgy buys and spends any money he gets properly.

I disagree mate sorry I think McFadden is extremely overrated and I've watched him a fair bit. I don't think he adds much dimension to the Birmingham team and he's very inconsistant. Can produce fantastic moments but when he's not in the game it's a bit like a dissapearing act.
 
Fair enough your entitled to your opinion. I can just see with all this talk about the lad he's gonna bang in a screamer against blackburn tonight lmao. Our whole team is inconsistent until late, so maybe thats not a reflection of just him with performances.
And ye he can disappear from games, but i see that with many players tbf going in and out of games. Its the impact that he can make, that makes him the player he is.
 
This is the kind of debate this forum should be getting used for and not 'he doesn't like me, im telling'

I enjoy putting my opinion across and it's good getting to hear that others have a different view and hearing them out and not dismissing what they have to say.

Cool, fair play to you both. we need all the fans getting back down the ****** ground!
Im sick of people calling up tom ross after the game, winging when they haven't been!

So i respect you both, lets hope we watch a good battling performance again, i would accept a draw tonight after the 4 straight wins. A win would be fantastic though!
