Hello everyone, as you know we where crowned Champions of the Npower Championship last season, and this obviously leads to the Premiership, which can only mean one thing. Hard work.
Quite clearly my squad wasn't good enough to stay in the Premier league for the up coming season, so a whole new look to the squad was made. With loads of players in and out of the club, it will take a time for them all to settle and get used to our game, i have now finished all transfer activity and there are only 2 players from last years starting eleven who have managed to keep hold of their place, them being our Captain Curtis Davies and Emanuel Villa. Here is a look at the transfers.

Like i said, A LOT of activity this summer. The owner's where very generous with the £30 Million they allowed me to use for transfers, must say i wasn't expecting that much! I would talk you through each individual transfer but to be honest id be here all night and so would you reading it! But here are my top 3 transfers (in my opinion of course)

3) Kolarov. A great LB but is over shadowed my Gael Clichy at City. For just under £4 Million he is a great buy with good defensive stats, as well as offensive. Definitely has a lot to off Birmingham this year.

2) Clint Dempsey. Scored 17 goals for Fulham last year, and with the form he is showing in real life for Fulham, £4.4 Million is a bargain. He has already scored a few this season for me. One being a brilliant lob.

1) Valbuena. In real life he is an absolutely fantastic player, and he isn't too bad for me either! £1.3 Million loan fee and £3.5 Million future fee if both parties wish to make the switch a permanent one. Been playing him on the left wing, and even though this isn't he's favourite position he has been putting in great shifts and scored a great goal against West Ham.
Before i managed to make all of these moves, there was more speculation regarding mine and the chairman's future. A business man called Carlo Tavecchio was leading a takeover and if it was successful he was planning on appointing Andre Villas Boas as the new manager at St Andrews. There was a Transfer Embargo placed straight after i had received the news, and then i started worrying. Luckily the talks broke down, this is the first time something like this has happened to me since playing FM so if anyone has had this before leave a comment and let me know if you managed to keep hold of your job, or if you was let go

This was by far, the most HORRIBLE game i have EVER played since playing Football Manager.....and that has been a long time. We got completely torn apart, i must admit though that it was mostly my fault. I was very naive with my tactics we played and almost kind of forgot who and where we was playing. But on the bright side, at least we had 3 shots..........:S
Not too bad really played 8 in all competition, won 4 and got BATTERED in four. Well really 3 has the defeat at Bolton was very unlucky with all 3 goals coming in the last 5 minutes of the match. Like i said regarding my tactics in the United game. I more a less never changed them at all this month, expect for our playing mentality which was pretty stupid of me, but i have made new fresh tactics for away games so hopefully we should let in a lot less goals. 2 things learnt from our first month in the Premiership and they are....
1) We where absolutely useless away from home and that this issue needs to be solved
2) We are a good attacking force at home and look like most points will be picked up at St Andrews
Finally here's a look at the League Table at the end of September.
