Martin Hmara: I was in very difficult situation. Club accepted the offer worth 500k £ (more than our full season salary budget) and I did not want Adam to leave. Best what we managed to get was future percentage profit 50% and loan for full season. I know that many of you disagree and are very upset on this deal, but lets take it positively. He will still help Spartans this season and his skill levels is actually way better than Vanarama National league.

Martin Hmara: Henry is a very good addition to our defense. We have plenty of defenders, but as good as him not many. And it is good to have squad depth because season is long and very are loads of games waiting for us

Martin Hmara: Our financial situation was good after selling our star player Berry and I really wanted to make this transfer money and all efforts we have made to be financially responsible matter. Training facilities play huge part of developing our players and after persuasion club board accepted to upgrade it. Almost 1 million £. Martin Hmara: Mike has been in inspirational form. Gorman and Berry were also candidates for the player of month award, but Mike deserved this award more because he is a defender and shined in every game (against York were Spartans won 3:0 he was average to be honest). Very promising youngster
Martin Hmara: It was a really disappointing start of the month when we lost to our arch rivals Shouth Shields. Next game against Hemel we were leading 3:0 and managed to lost the lead and finish with utter draw 3:3. Then game against Torquay was another unlucky one were we had much better scoring opportunities but failed to score and they finished a truly amazing freekick from 25 meters away from goal. What was good we turned around the results with last 2 games were we finished well and scored 12 goals and conceded 0.
Martin Hmara: December is very difficult month. A lot of games and unfortunately this time it hit as really hard with loads of injuries. Best striker Gorman, best midfielder (also squad best player) Berry, best leftback Giblin, good center back Webster all out for longer time. This will make difficult for me to adjust and find winning team each game, because our squad depth is good only in CB position all other areas are not well covered. Well we are leading the table at least and in January I will look in transfer market.

Considering the fact that Wolves are pole position in Championship and were are semi-professional squad from Vanarama National League 1 goal defeat is excellent result. Spartans were the first Non League side to play in the FA Cup 5th Round for 29 years. 1977-1978
Martin Hmara: Well Halifax has been in outstanding form. Moving win and win and although we managed to get crucial and super important win against Rochdale in home soil we lost to Hartlepool away game 1:3. We had 28 shots in that game and manage to convert only single of those chances. Hartlepool on the other side had 5 shots and their finishing was deadly, because they got 3 goals. Our GK Dowling performance was well below par and now we are 4 points behind Halifax. Spartans have 5 games to play and Halifax only 4. The last game of the season for Blyth will be against Halifax. It is all in our hands.

PLAYER OF MARCH 2026
Martin Hmara: There are clear interest from Bristol Rovers, Ross County and St Mirren. We need him he is a prolific scorer and KEY MEMBER of Spartans
Martin Hmara: With this defeat we lost our chance for the league win. Halifax has got 93 points and we have 89 points. I do not want to blame anyone but we just failed to score and defense line + GK were awful today. They scored 2 brilliant goals against us and 2 were pure luck goals were on the first one Webster did a weak back pass to our goalkeeper Dowling and opposite striker intercepted it a scored really easy goal. Second lucky goal was shameful, were 3 of our defenders missed to touch the ball and it ended up in front of the goal for Charley Baker who tipped it in with almost no effort. Team is demoralized, but we need to go and show quality in next game against this season champions Halifax.
Martin Hmara: I accept this negative result. I plan to do big changes in next transfer period. Dowling is not good enough and persistent GK for us. Need to find better option for goal. I am tremendously sorry in front of our fans because this means another season in Vanarama National League. I and all of team will do everything to secure victory next season and get this long waited promotion.

Martin Hmara: Finley had fantastic first season with Green Army. with 40 league games he scored breathtaking 31 goals and added 6 assists. Indispensable player. Hoping to get some consistent wingers also next to him who will provide even more scoring options for the lad. I want to loan Berry for one more season, but now it is up to Bristol City if they let him.

SEASON 2025/2026 SPARTANS BEST PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Martin Hmara: Finley was a full jackpot win for us. I want him to continue and develop further. I believe he will be a core part of our success next season. I will do my everything to get promotion next season. Club is performing well, but 2nd position in the League is not guaranteeing promotion. We need to win the league!
Martin Hmara: We had super active June and some success and misfortune by losing Gorman for only 56k £. Well he had very small release clause added to his contract and after splendid season with Spartans his value skyrocketed. Ross County got a pure diamond for almost free. This was by far the biggest failures. Green Army as I mentioned in earlier posts will have big changes and I sold 8 players. We brought in 4 players all on free transfer. Building up for new season.

Martin Hmara: I will follow his career. He had a huge impact in Spartans team and I hope he continue his scoring ways. Maybe when we get higher standard after a promotion or 2 he will like to come back and play for us again? Important for us is to build a league winning team and secure the promotion after 3 years in Vanarama National League. This means I need to find with help of our scouting staff good striker to replace Gorman.
Martin Hmara: Again dense transfer month with loads of offers and finally agreed deals. I can be happy happy and 1st of August 2026 season starts. We have strong team and want to win the league title. If we fail to win it then only other solution would to get promotion through play offs. Everything under that would be total disappointment. Martin Hmara: Mosconi is Gormans replacement. Very pleased with him and I just want him to score loads of goals. Difficult to jump into boots of Gorman, but he has enough skills to provide goals. He played for Milano Inter and got 1 game under them.
Martin Hmara:I think getting this right wingback is the best deal so far. Very skillful, quick, talented and a fantastic player for Spartans

Martin Hmara: Formidable striker Danns was the only transfer in August. Wycombe bought him for 170k £. Last season he was not very impressive, but I hesitated a bit before selling him because he started with 3 goals and 1 assist in first 4 games. Wish him luck and all the best in Championship. One of the main reasons I sold this talented lad was his recklessness. Last season we lost a lot of valuable points because of his red cards. I need a strong united team who are like Spartans not crazy guy who makes everyone else suffer after sending off.

Martin Hmara: Truly inspiring performances. Yes he missed 1 penalty, but take a closer look to this month games. 5 games 9 goals 1 assist. Any striker would be proud of these stats.
Martin Hmara: Kyle was performing well and while he is not at his International duties he scores and provides assists very well. Guillem Victor was also one candidate for player of the month, but his really fierce tackle against Oldham (he already had yellow from this game earlier) and second yellow + red card combined against Oldham took that chance from him. We lost that game.
Martin Hmara: Just fabulous how lucky we are to get second prolific striker a row. Gorman was outstanding, but Italian forward Mosconi is even better. Below view of last season Blyth best player Gorman history. So far in Scottish Premiership things are not going very well. 4 goals in 15 games is not what is expected from him. Maybe can loan or buy him back? It would be devastating power in attack for us when Mosconi and Gorman will play in front.
