Martin Hmara: This first month of 2027 was not the best for Spartans. 18 year Sean played well in 3 games but played under par also 3 games. We lost 1 game in the league and tied 3 games. Lead against the second team Rochdale has shrunken to 2 points only.

Martin Hmara: Fans and maybe club board are not very delighted with this transfers but on the other hand I am. He impressed me in my first season with Blyth where Chester they played inthe same Vanarama North League. He gave 21 assists in 1 season. I need this kind of right back. He might have a crucial part to make the league win happening.

Martin Hmara: It is a huge blow at this stage of the season to lose the best GK. Loaned GK Hall has been performing badly and Dowling the 3rd option is just not good enough. But we need to adjust the situation and get wins to secure promotion and if possible title

Martin Hmara: We had to win to keep our title chances alive and we did. Huge contributor was Mosconi who finished with hat trick. Hall in the goal got high rating 7.6 although let pass 4 shots. Well 3 points are here for us so all good.

Martin Hmara: 40 goals in a season is an crazy achievement where ever and when ever. We are not playing in fully professional League and Blyth is currently also semi-professional side, but this will not undervalue the superb scoring from this fantastic Italian lad. 3 clubs already show great interest to get his signature. And if he scores at least 3 goals in next 3 games he will do a record and become most illustrated striker in Vanarama National League. I see that he has potential to fulfill this task.

This cup is not our priority and Final against Yeovil will be held on the 9th of May. Of course it would be nice to win trophies and now that we made so far the last step is to win final

Martin Hmara: Mattia was our foundation for success this season. In cup final hat trick and in League 44 goals is 44 games. Incredible player and his worth is between 2,9-4 Million £. The best thing is that he does not have release clause and we do not need to be afraid that some team will get him for candy money. I rely on him next season in League 2

Martin Hmara: I was frustrated with Guillem Victor sale. Only 1,2 million £ for him. I wanted to keep him. McIntyre was also not good sale, but stupid release clause for higher division clubs were used. Other players were not such a big losses. Giblin played nice 3 seasons with us all together 110 league games 4 goals and 22 assists. I just want to bring a level or two better player for LB position to replace him in League 2. Barcley performed really badly and I was delighted to get 160k £ for him. Harrison Neal was good for us last season but interest for him was high and decided to cash him out for 160k £. Want to give younger players options in the first 11. He was 25 years old.

Martin Hmara: Very active transfer period for Blyth. 6 loaned player in and 4 new players from free transfer + Juan our new GK club record transfer fee 50k £. I think with our club director and scout team we have done superb work and built up very strong team for this season. Not sure were we are going to finish but minimum aim is to finish in upper part of the table (first 10) and hopefully if all goes well why not even in playoff spot (first 7)? Midfield was updated in fashionable way when we bring in Lowry and Forson. I think we have now one of the best midfield in League 2.

Martin Hmara: Bolstering the squad even more and first time in Blyth we have 3 GK-s. Iago is another midfield maestro and feeling really confident and happy with our options in midfield this season. Krytsis young 19 year old Greek is future star hopefully. Record fee 250k € what we payed for him. We sold James Carragher 54k £who was an aggressive CB. He played last 2 seasons with Blyth all together 70 league games 28 yellow cards and 1 red card and nice 7 goals. Also Rakealan Jeffers was sold, he was just not good enough and Wimbeldon got him for 110k £. Last season 14 games 1 goal and 3 assists for his name.

Martin Hmara: Kieran is not our first or even second option RB, but I am delighted with him. And happy I signed him. He is up for being substitute and has good behaviour and makes or team stronger. Yes there were all known names like Lowry and Mosconi, but his performances in November impressed me the most!

I personally hoped to keep him and bring us more glory but Mattia wanted to move back to Italy and Seria A. Great player and he deserves to get his chance in highest standard. We managed to clear out our financial troubles with his sell and back up some transfer budget for future.

Martin Hmara: Omari Forson has been brilliant and contributing as goal scorer and assister. This is the guy who builds up our fantastic midfield together with Lowry and Iago. Dominating force and we are leading the League 2 due to the strongest midfield in my opinion. Defense is holding well and wingers are also doing good. Mosconi is gone and to fill his boots will be difficult.
