First stage
Ferro 2-1 Lanús
Benitez - M. Acuña
This match had it all, people injured, people sent off, penalties missed, and what's more importat, a goal o the 95th minute.
Ferro 3-0 Estudiantes
Bracamonte - Benitez - Dolci
It was a really boring match actually. We shot 5 times and they did it three times.
Independiente 2-4 Ferro
Dolci x3 - Jimenez.
I was anry when we gave away a 2-0 lead. I go calm when we scored two more times.
Ferro 4-3 Arsenal
Klusener - Dolci x2 - Aquino
This match was very similar to the previous one. We were winning 3-0 and we let them equalize. Luckily Aquino came from the benche and sealed the triumph on the last minute.

A fantastic defensive performance. García scored from a corner, and if we managed to score in Porto Alegre, we might survive this.

The fact that they could only score through a controversial penalty talks wonders about our defense. I did not expect to beat them, but after being so close, it hurts to lose on penalties.
The semifinals are all Brazilian, and it is logical. Financially they are miles away from the rest of the leagues.

Meh, they didn't even had a clear chance. One of theirplayers tried to centre the ball and it went straight into our goal.

We were angry becuase Gremio had just eliminated us from the Copa Sudamericana and we took it on them.

Now I know why they are tailing us. They played really well but it was not enogh for them.

Klusener is fighting for a starter place, and he is doing it very well.

Solid performance. If we win he following match we are champions.

García - De Miranda
We were champions before playing because Argentinos had lost their match. However, I enjoyed very match defeating River for the first time.

Finally Pereyra Díaz could play the whole 90 minutes after a series of injuries.
Vélez 0-0 Ferro
I wanted to win the derby in order to close the semester the best way possible. Having Schunke sent off on the 4th minute did not help at all.

We did it! Unbeaten Champions! Now I will start searching for a job in Uruguay or Paraguay. I will stick with Ferro until I find one though.

The only available job in Paraguay or Uruguay was Olimpia. I applied for it but they went for the manager of a Paraguayan second division team. I recieved some offers from Argentina and Brasil though.
