Sheff Utd really dominating this game so we was lucky just come out of it 1-0. Viera was in fine form in goal today. We didnt really seem to create many chances.
M.O.M: Viera

Bridlington Town v.s Southampton
View attachment 70538
A fantastic result, The team played very well and showed that we aint the weak side that everybody thinks we are. The center midfield was in fine form today, controlling the tempo throughout.
M.O.M: Magnus Eikrem (Excellent in the middle of the Park and Bagging a goal)

QPR v.s Bridlington Town
View attachment 70541
Quite a even game but i felt we could still of won it. We missed a few clear cut chances early on and a 1 on 1 attempt in the last minute of the game. But still 1pt away from home is a bonus.
M.O.M: Joe Williams (The Anchor Man had a great game today supporting the defense and building up attacks)

Bridlington Town v.s Crystal Palace
View attachment 70536
WOW, What a foul bunch of players Crystal P have. 3 red cards in the second half made this game all too easy for us. They certinly wont be winning the fair play trophy. On the other hand tho, My men had a brilliant game and nice rising to some of the gried they was receiving.
M.O.M: Andy Saunders (Grabbing a brace today and still remains towns top Scorer)

This was a game were the scoreline didnt reflect the game. It was a very close fought out match but the only difference was Cardiff were able to put there shots away as we didnt. Just one of the days for us.

There going down but slowly, The costs of the league are just too much as out Gate receipts just cant clear the amount. We need a new stadium and soon. Just need the board to realize it.

just looked at the story there now you have done amazing to take the team so far! just one more big push needed for the big time :D

A red card early in the second half and a gifted own goal made us yet again grab another point. But a point away from home is what we hope to achieve and thats what we did today.

A very very exciting game indeed. 1-1 at half time and the game looked quiet, until the 2nd half kicked off. 2-2 when the clock struck 90 minutes and up stepped Bauza to volley the ball into the back of the Norwich net. Brid Town fans went wild as they knew this was a very much needed victory. Norwich came close in the dying minutes but failed to convert.
M.O.M: Magnus Eikman (A brace and a assist for the midfielder)

Conventry v.s Bridlington Town
View attachment 71300
2nd of 4 on the road games this month and all against top league sides, After the win against Bolton 3 days ago the lads looked tired and not focused. Conventry simpley passed the ball around us and finished there chances. We had a few chances to score but none converted apart from Eikrems 30 yard screamer.

The quality of ex Premiership sides are showing against my inexperienced side. Scoreline suggests a close game but in reality we never looked like winning. We need a break sometime soon as fatigue is setting in.

Great story man, has inspired me to turn my current career (very early into it) into a story... ironicly... I am manager of the team you put out of the Vase semi in 09/10, the mighty robins - Bideford AFC!

Having Callum Morris sent off in the 3rd minute didnt do any favour to our morale. 1-0 Down at half time and i knew i had to boost the confidence of the lads. I made 2 subs and gave them a stern talking too. 2nd half they came up fighting and after a flurry of goals we found ourselves 3-1 up and taking the 3pts. Very Proud!
M.O.M: Guillam Buaza (Captain encouraged his team-mates on and even bagged a goal himself)

3-0 up at half time and we was coasting. But the the opposite from last game and the lads let there heads down and nearly found us ending the game with a draw. Last minute save from Towns keeper ensured we held onto the Victory.
M.O.M: Andy Saunders (Fine attacking display)

Both sides creating plenty of chances but no converting any of them. We defo had the happier set of supporters today! Some negatives but a lot of positives to take from the game.

On paper it was a very boring game, But reality it was like a win for us. West Brom at running the league at the moment and we lost to them 5-0 at there place. So a great result for us. Our defence played great today keeping there attackers at bay.
M.O.M: Bronze 'N Gala (Great in defence and keep a solid back line)

A local derby and it didn't disappoint. Fantastic game to watch. Hull had the better chances but it was our boys who finished theres. Vieria in goal was a beast today, denying Hull alot of goals. A very good win for us and MAYBE, just MAYBE theres a chance we could go up.
M.O.M: Vieria (Solid in goal today)

A good result and a chance to take them back to our place and get a result. 1-0 down till Huizinga's scorching strike leveled the tie and sent it into a replay leg at Queensgate Stadium

As far as nerve racking games go, this has to be the worst one. One goal in it the whole game and Popovic's strike on 88th minute sent the tie into extra time then peneltys. With both teams missing a majority of theres, it was Town who capitalized on QPR;s mistakes. Through to the next round with a tie against Sheff Utd away.
M.O.M: Popovic (Great brace and played well throughout)

The tractor boys went 2-0 up in the first 10 minutes. But the reaction from our lads was immense. The replied with 4 goals of there own and recording a very nice win and bagging 3pts. Fine way to cap off a good month.

Town to push for there 8th Promotion in 8 seasons????
Its a unbelievable achievement and only a dream for some lower league managers! But for Carl Taylor and his team Bridlington town are only a few months away from being in the BIG TIME. So far they have finished first in every league in the past 7 seasons under the reign of Carl Taylor. They sit in 4th Postion with a long and hard few months ahead of them but some bookies are already bumping up there odds to gain promotion to the top flight.

Transfers
Tight schedules come with tired legs and lead up to injurys, This month has been real hard with losing 4 main players too short niggling injurys. So i had to quickly grab 2 young guns to replace them. So my scouts came up with these:

David Johnson
View attachment 72069
Got this young gun from Man City, His stats aint great but he will fit in the attacking mid-field role well till 1st teamers come back.

Danny Bailey
View attachment 72070
Also from Man City but due to both my DM's being injured he was a very last minute loan signing. Just hope the youngster can fit the role!

Unbelievable result, On paper this should of been a very tough game and we was always second favorite's. But the lads came out fighting and it payed off. Quality performance from everyone on the pitch! Through to the Quarter Finals to play Chelsea at home!

Blades Blunt as Sea-Siders run rampent!!
Bridlington Town have made club history by reaching the Quarter finals to play Chelsea at home. The seasiders looked strong throughout and never looked to faulter. The impressive stat now is that Brid Town have never lost at home in the FA Cup in there club history. Either way come win or loss its a massive result for Bridlington as they are proving they can be a force to be reckoned with.

A bore draw but a good result, A draw in this stage of the competition is a good earned point. Nothing really happened on the pitch but Town picked up a injury to on form Ben Burgess.

Bridlington Town v.s Leicester
View attachment 72077
Another fine result and yet again we keep pressure on the top 3 teams. The defense today was on fire and the strikers finished when needed. The whole team got the man of the match tonight as they showed that we can really be a force to be reckoned with. Tired legs creeping up in the late stages tho and its taking its toll! A injury to stand in captain Damien Delany has hit the club hard.
M.O.M: Bronze N' Gala (Filled the role at CB well)

Another home win and another clean sheet. The defence are really performing well at the moment and im lost for words. There pulling out results when we need them. Yet another harsh injury tho to Popovic and he is out for 3 weeks. 5 injurys in the last 3 games.
M.O.M: Jason Pearce (Great filling in Centerback today)

Gutted but not disheartened, 1-0 up and we seemed to be cruising till the late second half. Huddersfield deserved a point today but it was harsh on us not getting anything from this game. But we need to put it behind us and continue forward.
