Laws Walks Out!

Brian Laws today shocked and pleased, Burnley supporters by handing in his Resignation to the chairman. This is what the Chairman had to say " I would like to thank Brian for all his hard work in making Burnley FC as good and as big as he possibley could. We will be looking to appoint someone pretty soon and have a few names on who we would like to be the next manager of this great Football club.

No-One wants Burnley?

Today it seems like Burnley may not be getting who they want as Manager as all 5 possible canidates confirmed that they did not want the Burnley FC Job. First Jose Mourinho and Eddie Howe said that they were both to loyal to there clubs to join. Then Phil Brown said that Burnley was not a challenge. Then Lee Clark said that he was only in his Second Season at Huddersfield and did not want to go until Huddersfield were a Premier League Side. Finnaly George Burley said that moving from Crystal Palace to Burnley would be a step down . Now the Favourites for the Burnley Job are:

Burnley Have Appointed a new Manager

Craig Dunning, a young manager from Hartlepool, has been appointed manager of Burnley FC. Here is what he had to say," I am very Proud that Burnley FC, who were only in the Premier League last year have appointed ME as manager."
Here are some questions from his First Press Conferance

Reporter: What does it feel like to be a football manager?
Craig D: I am very proud and hopefully I will be very Succesful.
Reporter: What do you hope to achieve in your first season?
Craig D: I hope to get into the play-offs and hopefully in a couple of years be playing in the Premier League
Reporter: Who do you think will be your main Contenders for Promotion?
Craig D: Middlesbrough, Bristol City, Ipswich and Cardiff
Repoter: Can you tell us how much money you have to Spend?
Craig D: You'll have to wait and find out.
Reporter: Which Football team do you support?
Craig D: Liverpool FC
Reporter: So not Burnley?
Craig D: No but I will try my best to take Burnley to the Premier League and Beyond.

So there you go Craig Dunning, a young liverpool supporter will take charge of Burnley FC

I put Jose Mourinho in because he seems to get linked to every job in the world, even Burnley (H)

The Burnley Chairman has not only suprised manager Craig Dunning but the world as he announced that Burnley would have 3.7 million pounds to spend on players and that he expected Burnley to Achieve Promotion back to the Premier League.

Ochs Signs For Burnley

Craig Dunning made his First Signing as Burnley boss getting Timo Ochs on a Free Transfer. Craig went on to release this Statement "Timo is a very strong keeper who will be able to compete in the Championship and maybe even in the Premiership." Burnley Fans have never heard of Timo but hope he will be able to Lead them straight back into the Prem.

Burnley sign Wonderkids

Burnley today spent 180k on 2 new wonderkids who thier manager Craig D believes will help them get into the premiership. They Signed Sean Morrison from Swindon for 100k and Adam Le Fondre from Rotherham for 80k. Both players are expected to have a bright futere in the game. Burnley Fans are pleased that thier Manager has Strengthened the squad with 2 young players.

Man City Sign Rodriguez
Man City today signed Burnley wonderkid Jay Rodriguez for £3.3 Million. The England U-21 striker is tipped to be a great player and Burnley Fans are gutted that Burnley have let him go. Manager Craig Dunning had this to say "I am gutted that Jay has left us but it was for money we could not refuse we hope that he will hold no grudges againest this Club and we wish him all the best in the Futere. I am already looking at ways to improve the squad with the money we got from this Transfer, especially after Steven Thompson will be out for 2 months with a Groin Strain"

Burnley shock the World

Burnley Fans are celebrating in the streets because there club managed to sign a global superstar. Charlie Adam has signed from Blackpool for 3.2 Million Pounds. Craig Dunning has only 3 words to say to the press "Get In There". Craig Dunning also thanked Man City for Signing Jay Rodriguez because without the money they got for him this transfer would not of been possible.

Burnley confirmed that another 2 signing had been made, making it 6 transfers already and the season hasn't even started. First Gary Madine came from Carlislie for 90k, then 3 days later Craig Mawson went to Newport County on a free and Adam Hammill arrived from Barnsley for 1.5 Million Pounds. The early reaction is that Burnley fans are happy with the quality of players arriving at Turf Moor

Burnley defender Michael Duff has Requested to leave Burnley. He Feels he has been unfairly left out of the team and wants to escape the Media Spotlight. MacDonald Signs for Burnley

Burnley today pleased thier fans that Peter MacDonald has arrived on a free transfer after his contract at St.Johnstone expired, the clarets will hope that he will grab a few goals to help them get into the Premier League. Craig Dunning had this to say "I am delighted that Peter has chosen to sign for us, he is a proven goalscorer in Scotland and hopefully he will become a proven goalscorer in England."
