again this is why I stated this is something different from other tactics and this keeps the AI on it's toes, just because the Mentality is on attack don't assume the players are also on attack.

try the tactic out and you will see for yourself how the players work, look at the SS these alone show it's not a full on attacking tactic but a more control, possession tactic, I mean 7 games in 15 goals scored and 1 conceded in the PL? now to me this ain't an all out attacking system because I would of conceded a **** of a lot more.

Of course mate, it looks great I don't doubt what you have created is very good, that wasn't what I was saying.

If the team mentality is "attack" the "automatic" duties are also attack. That's just the way it works (have a look at the link in my previous post).

Again, your tactic looks great, well done to you and I hope it continues to work for you and everyone who tries it, I just wanted to point out that the "auto" duty doesn't quite work in the way you think. Cheers.

EDIt: The above assumes that the coding isn't broken in some way :)

I always like to challenge SI ;)

SDJ was injured so I haven't had the chance to play him but in the friendly's I had him as DLF support and he was affective.

About the head coach I would of loved FDB as would 99% of toon fans but that's out of the window :( but I wouldn't mind Gaiter since he's more like a French FDB ( same style and can develop youths into first team ) I hear a lot of people suggestion Remi Garde but I don't know his style or how he develops players, what he did at Lyon was superb but this is the Premier League.

I have a funny feeling if Garde did take over Carver I think he will buckle under pressure in a matter of months, so it could be tough for any head coach to come through, but if the cockney dogs keep Carver on for full time I believe Newcastle will go down next season and a lot of our star players would want to leave ( which I don't blame them for wanting to leave )

who would you have as head coach?
I would have loved FDB as well but unfortunately that's not happening. First and foremost I want a coach whos gonna bring an attractive style, give us a new identity, and someone who will be able to get the best out of our squad and develop youth players. Don't know much about Galtier but I would love any of Garde, Karanka or Tuchel. Garde has been described as a Wenger disciple and got involved a lot with the youth academy, and a lot of their first team starters now like Lacazette/Umiti/Grenier/Gonalons were all developed by him and his staff, good style of football apparently, pass and move. Looks just like speedo as well

but yes your right if we have carver next season we will be in danger of going down. I have a feeling Cashley will take the cheaper option in carver sadly

I'll try this tactics in my next career with scandianese (6th level of italian league)

thanx for your tactics :)

aye mate defo, but don't forget we need a head coach who has a " PLAN B " but like you said and I think must of will agree that Cashley will pick JC since he's a cheaper option and has an 8 year contract same with Stone and Woodman and if a new head coach came in he would want his own coaches brought in, but on a positive side of things though --

Carver, Stone & Woodman could be placed as under 21's coaches to save on compensation because I don't think any other club would want them ( maybe Pardew might ;) ) and Iv'e also notice that all managers we have been linked with have publicly stated they don't want to come here bar one and that's Remi Garde every time a press hits him with this question to join us he won't answer them.

Maybe we already signed him and he's waiting until the summer so he can bring his staff over from Lyon? also why did Cashley buy Cabella? we both know P45 can't work with technical players or even young players?

Iv'e got a funny feeling Cashley had this planned to bring a foreign head coach over, maybe Cashley has a tiny bit ambition ;) lol

A new 442 has emerged called " Nightmare " and it's even more powerful than the main 442, scores more, defends better and the set pieces created by TacticOftheYear makes it a total nightmare for the opposition.

What are your results like?

Iv'e started a new save to give this a full season, but I did beat AM 6-1 away and Man U 7-1 away
