Love him or hate him, I'm not sure there is a manager of the modern era who can
stand next to him and be called an equal. 19 Major trophies: Including two UEFA
Champions Leagues. The closest challenger in terms of success would be Alex Ferguson
(49 honours) but that was earned throughout a glittering 39 year long managerial career
whereas Mourinho has only been in the game 14 years: at this same point, Ferguson was
yet to add 37 trophies to his collection.

So naturally, when José Mourinho announced he was coming back to Chelsea
in 2014, there was cautious optimism amongst the club's loyal faithful.

His first year back passed without much incident, the club finishing 3rd with a respectable
82 points; behind a surprise-package Liverpool who many feel could have ended the year
as champions. Though Chelsea did take 6 points form both Liverpool and eventual
champions, Man' City. This is an important footnote to remember, this squad can
beat the best... But can they be the best?

This is the man who brought them their last English crown.
José Mourinho: The Special One.
