Chelsea gets a 5 year plan.

I'm still waiting for your Brighton 5 year plan ;) I honestly feel you could do an amazing job with them

Although that being said, I wouldn't personally start a Liverpool story myself, but each to their own and I respect that :)

Yeah of course! I would never start a United save, or Everton, and probably not another big English team either, totally understand that!

And the single lowest form of football fans in England.

Please leave prejudice at the door, I don't want it in here. Banter between fans is all well and good but that comment is just downright disrespectful. Regardless of who you follow, this is first and foremost, a community for Football Manager. Please be respectful of other fans and the teams they follow.

Edit: I read on and I'm glad that it was just the heat of the moment. I fancied doing a Rival story so that I could see what playing with them is like. I'm not passionate about Chelsea but I've always liked them because of their work ethic. Some of the players down through the years were simply inspirational: Petr Cech, Joey Jones, Ashley Cole, Joe Cole, Roberto Di Matteo, Michael Ballack, Ruud Gullit, Claude Makelele, Ray Wilkins, Damien Duff, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Nicolas Anelka, Didier Drogba

Just some background to help ye see where I'm coming from. I was raised in a rugby household in Limerick. Rugby in Limerick is a Working-class game so almost every boy at the age of 8+ is playing rugby with a club. In Munster, we have a strict policy of respect; especially to the opposition. Thomand Park is silent for opposition kicks.

Because of this, I never grew up with the tribal "Us vs Them" attitude you see in European Football. There are teams I don't like but that's because I don't like seeing them wining; their fans are people and are identical to me: they're emotionally invested in their club.

I love the game; I follow Liverpool.

Exactly what I was was thinking; nevertheless if this story is to the same standard as your Liverpool one then I shall thoroughly enjoy it, best of luck with my beloved Chelsea Brendn.

You missed the best Chelsea Player ever, the one and only Gianfranco Zola.

OMG!!! So many liverpool fans here. I'm just going to sit in my spot here, pretend you didn't see me :D

.... I was, testing you.... Yes, testing! :P

Im a United fan and maintain to this day he is the only Chelsea player I would have liked to have seen do the switch from a Chelsea shirt to a United one.

Ok, and this is the last I'll say on this as I don't wish to disrupt your thread any further .....

In context, to anyone that's had the misfortune over the years of encountering those 'fans', particularly at the Bridge, it honestly truly isn't insulting. Not least your own club that's seen silences remembering your dead disrupted by the majority of Chelsea's support, and regularly has to 'tolerate' abuse of those no longer here from that 'support.' And that's not to say Liverpool fans are angels either. We have some terrible individuals, particularly in the younger end, among our support. As most clubs sadly do. Just as regards Chelsea, for the past 40 years or so, it's been the majority, and the accepted norm more prevalent than most anywhere on ALL levels of discrimination you could wish to mention. I make absolutely no apologies for the bolded in that context and you wouldn't either if you'd experienced that regularly in reality.

That said .....

Where I will openly apologise, is in the fact that I appreciate this is totally the wrong forum to bring that up and have the subsequent discourse. (Although that was never the intention to begin with.). You're completely correct that this board is related to FM, and FM alone; and as such I can appreciate how that can cause offence in the context of that basis.

So again, I apologise for this diversion to your thread; and for bringing my own feelings on real life experiences into a forum essentially based on reality.

I shall endeavour to never make an error of judgement like that again.

Now back to the new story at hand .....

Guys, common! I'm trying to write a story here.
Stay on topic.
It is on topic, Chelsea doing liverpool, you will beat liverpool, so im helping to show what will happen :) .... Great start so far good luck

To get you back on topic... Always look forward to your stories Brendn and I'll be reading with interest! It's just a shame that you can't transfer the wonderful way Mourinho pronounces 'John' onto the screen! Good luck.

My inaugural post. And I'd first off like to thank you greatly. Your outstanding LFC story (long time lurker) blew me away and has inspired me to add to the forum with a coming Milan story. (My second love. And you've done L'pool that well that I'll turn to the other complete mess in my sporting life and try to 'cyber' rectify it. Another Liverpool story just wouldn't be right. Smiles.).

So without you I doubt I'd be here.

Chelsea ..... man, as a born and bred Liverpudlian, this is a real head scratcher and is gonna' be REAL hard to follow.

To many, particularly older reds, the hatred, to not put too finer a point on it, with Chelsea is RIGHT up there with ANYTHING! Utd included. And it's reciprocated from West London. We've had a thing with Chelsea since WAY before Mourinho even got into football. The dislike for Utd, in the main, is fan orientated. Two City's just 35 miles apart, but a MILLION miles apart in everything from the way we dress/ talk/ our musical tastes et all. But Utd as a club have always been a great football club and the two clubs have traditionally got on.

Chelsea ..... I can't find ONE redeeming factor with that football club. Horrible, if undoubtably great, manager. Horrible attitude among a lot of the players. A VERY questionable owner. And the single lowest form of football fans in England.

Again, I love reading your work and you've inspired me to finally add to my busy life by joining here.

But this is a REAL head scratcher for a Liverpool fan to happily not only do a story on them, but chose to play with THEM to begin with.
Get over yourself, it is literally a computor game. You don't like who he plays as? Stop reading and play the game yourself
