ChristianEriksen' Tactics

So I've been using the V6 in my home games and some of the away games, and while it's doing good and going strong, I do have some little feedback. (Complaints, whatever you want to call it. :P)

It could be because of my own Inside Forwards are more attacking midfielders than wingers (Coutinho and Mahrez. Same goes for Barbosa whose back-up for Mahrez, but I only noticed recently that he doesn't have çut inside as PPM, so I guess that's the problem there.) but they don't get into scoring positions that much. Whn my striker drops into midfield, the only one who runs into the space he left behind, is either the midfielder on attacking duty (Firmino) and sometimes the midfielder on support duty (Henderson.) They also sometimes aren't in the box on time for a cross, or they just flat out keep the field too wide, which causes my striker and my two midfielders to be the only guys in the box.

When the first season is done, I will try to change the duties to attacking for teh inside forwards during pre-season or change some of their instructions to see if it solves my problem a bit. Might also change the striker to false 9.

The 442 v2 counter is epic! 1st season I used it I won supercup-italian cup and serie A with C.Ronaldo top scorer in all competions scoring 47 goals
2nd season won super cup-serie A(26 points on the second),italian cup and champions league + C.Ronaldo 51 goals in all competions + the world player of the year

Best tactic used so far on fm 16

Is shadow striker really the only viable option as a AMC? (Wolfpack)

Mates, does anyone have noticed a very different performance level between home and away matches?
I'm still looking for reliable settings when i play away and i'm predicted equal or underdog.
I'll explain better my situation, may be some of you had the same issue.
I'm managing in Germany, Werder Bremen media predicted 10th but actually challenging for second positions with a couple of other teams, as tactics i'm using 442 counter attack and evolutions V6, both are fluid and i've players who can perfectly cover the tactics.
At home i'm quite invincible, it does not matter if i'm favourite or underdog, many many many victories, some draws and extremely rare losses.
Away it's quite different, 442 performs well defensively, it's rare to concede more than 1- 2 goals but it's very hard to score more than 1 goal.
I've got many draws 1-1 or 0-0.
This would be good when playing Europa League or Champions JJ but not good enough when you need to get a win away to improve the standing.
433 gave me mixed and unpredictable results away, my sensation is: good and very effective if you're favourite, less good if you're underdog or equal.
That's all....

Depends on the mentality you have set. I play most away games with structured and we easily beat the lower teams away. The bigger teams are somewhat difficult, yes, but if you manage your team right, you can easily beat those too. Only for the likes of Arsenal, United, City and such I use the Knap counter. For other teams, both home and away I use this tactic.

Just start the away games against lower teams with structured, and if you notice that they get control over the match a little bit too much, try flexible team shape to take over control. If that doesn't work either, try to be a little bit more defensive or have a counter tactic ready.

Also, Christian. I'll try to provide you with some screens soon. (If I won't forget about it.) Can't promise you when exactly that will be though.

Trying the Wolfpack Counter with both wide players as IF-S with Man Utd, so far so good - 2 wins out of 2 (3-0 vs Palace, 5-1 vs Stoke)
EDIT: One thing to notice is that like SirGoalAlot, this tactic also picks up quite a lot of fouls and yellow/red cards.

I have to say i really like the V2 Fast Counter Beast.

I used this with Porto in our Online Game with really amazing results.
I bought ONE Player for the first Squad (Matt Phillips - Queens Park Rangers) and won the Leauge with 90! Points.
Won both Cups in Portugal and in a amazing CL-Final Match against Manchester United (3:2 - 2 red Cards and hearth stopping saves from Iker Casillas).

Anyway....
But some Facts whats it possible with this Tactic:
  • Aboubakar scored 50 Goals in this Season
  • Matt Phillips had more then 25 assists
  • i lost 3! Matches in ~60 Games
  • And bring my friends near to an mealtdown (~30 Points ahead in the Leauge)
Bad thing is i have no Screenshots now (Online Game), but maybe i will ad some next time we play.

I dont say its the best Tactic out there, but for me it worked very very well.

Hey,

Love this tactic, after a rough start, decided to tweak a little to my team and now i'm 2e in the Premier league, playing with Sunderland, and after looking to get the best results with this squad i'm finally satisfied

Fast Counter Beast (alternating V1 and V2) did very well form me in Serie A with Torino (not the strongest team of the league): 2nd place and national cup final in the first season.
If you like strong defending football and fast counterattacks FCB is the best tactic around ... if you have the right players obviously ;)

Man United

Hi

Has anyone tested the FCB tactics with Man United?

How did it work?

I know most people are praising FCB V2, but V1 works even better for me :D

Just beat benfica 5-0 with defensive positioning as match tactic and my f9 scored all 5 goals, really insane game :P

1st place in CL group stage which was also unexpected, great tactic Christian!

Hey Christian first of all i thank you for all your tactics, then i used your tweaked tactic, gobl. tff. ce. v2 combi, 4-1-2-2-1 combination. I used your tactic in my second and third season. I play third season now and my team goes undefeated. I win 21 and draw 11 for 32 games for my league. My team will play final for league cup and i eliminated cl, semi final vs Chelsea, but all of these, my team very often see a red card and i often do a penalty. My scorers don't score very much. Sorry for my English but i need a solution for this situations.

Sorry for flood but i wanna see you for my league cup statistics, i see 3 red cards, really? i see 9 red cards and 127 yellow cars for 58 games. Ramon, Juan Jesus, Wanyama and Sokratis always see yellow cards.

Your FCB tactics V1 and V2 are amazing so far for my Aston Villa. I am playing in the EPL first time as I avoid it as a league, I always choose Italian teams being Juve fan my self but ITS AMAZING so far. I made no transfers except Andrija Zivkovic, Del Piero and Zarate on loan.

Works like a dream, won EPL twice in first 2 seasons, won Capital One Cup and reached semi final of champs league getting beat 7-5 on aggregate by Barca (beat Real in the semi's).

Im Watford also btw and use instant result. I choose 'play for win' 9 times out of 10 but if im away from home against the likes of man city/chelsea iv used 'smash and grab'

Thanks very much.
