Alright mate, its not a competition.

To all the people who say "I could do this dead easy if I got the same loan signings as him", go for it. This story has shown amazing patience and commitment, as well as the success he achieved later on when he didn't cheat. Sit down, load up your FM2010 and get to where Aston is at the moment, because in all honesty, you won't.

Exactly. Aston has made the greatest achievement on Football Manager EVER in my opinion regardless of his alleged cheating.

Whether Aston cheated or not, it takes some serious patience to make a story last this long and play a save for this amount of time. I created my failure of a story at the same time, it lasted a few days before I got bored. This was back in February so to keep a story going for this length of time is incredible I think. I always thought if you were cheating it would take the fun out of the game and would force you to get bored and stop. While I think there are much better stories out there, this is easily the longest running and credit must be given where it is due. If Aston didn't make things easier at the start then how much harder would this be. I'm not saying that cheating is right but unless your a FM god of some sort, it is near enough impossible to get a team from that level to the top. 'Nuff said

What he has done goes far beyond any stories on here, So what if he MIGHT of edited??? And as people have said "Its only for the first season or 2" what he has achieved after that is pure genious. If he made the changes then the only person who should be botherd is himself. He has took alot of effort to write all this story out so u should just shut up and read and enjoy it. we were just curious thats all. I have said its a quality achievement but people were wondering whether without all those signings whether he would be where he is now because without those quality players its not easy

Just start with Cockfosters and try to sign the same players in the first season . I u fail then i have no idea why. I used 10.2 patch and still using it.

someone who also started one with Cockfosters said he was cheating to get those players. He told him to try to sign them to see if he cheated. Another person signed the exact same and all times died about how to cheated. Again he was playing on 10.2 update.

Yep once again proved fact.

its good to have somekind of discussion here, but i dont even care if there is some1 who believe that i cheat . And like already said before i am using Genie Scout witch have made this story faster and quality players easier to find. The other thing is that most of the players reject offers from lower leagues. After first few seasons it went very hard to get good loan players. Who have read this hole thread through can see it urself

Soon coming January and February updates. Today was awful day, lost in volleyball Semi-finals to weaker team and my girlfriend is not answering to my phone calls . At least weather is fine and tomorrow we will won 3rd place game in volleyball for sure

I have full faith in him and whatever the outcome of my investigation this is still a brilliant achievement but I know for a fact that he uses editors and that can detract from the authenticity of his success.

EDIT:He cheated rawly by giving himself players that are good for teams about 4/5 divisions above. None of them would come to me at Cockfosters on the original patch even though I offered them massive contracts. However I still merit his dedication and patience.

MASSIVE contracts . Cockfosters started as amateur club Haha what massive offers ? The best what could happen is that parent club agrees with the loan and player as well. You could just hope that they agree . Yeap its funny to read it. While ive been away there are some good facts coming

thats interesting, ive tried it twice and it worked well for me. But no problemo. Checking it out for third time as well. After i made January and February updates
