absolute shocking decition by the ref! he hand balled it twice!

also at the end all the ball boys were throwing balls on at the end to slow the game down... honestly the french football it oozes class NOT!

cant stand the french there hypocrites with the ball boys...

they wont win :)
 
Gutted.
Great display from Ireland, battled right to the end.
If Henry comes out and says he's sorry then fair play.
 
Gutting stuff bad decsion by ref fair play to Henry at the end though looked like he was saying sorry to Dunne at the end of the game

To be honest, if i was in Henry's situation i would have done the same thing, but still he is a cheat :D

I always liked Henry
but on the balance of play, over the 210 minutes, we should have won 2 or 3-1.
But he's not exactly gonna put up his 'hand' and say I handballed it, disallow the goal
thats the end of that World Cup team
 
it will be interesting to see tomorrow's papers and the backlash that french football will get as a result of this in the future, especially in the world cup. let's see what platini's got to say...
 
Put it this way I don't think Henry is proud of himself.......some serious stick coming his way

I agree henry seems a pretty nice guy off the pitch but he blatantly meant what he did and he won't be losing any sleep over ******** over a whole nation.

I shouldn't have watched that end of the game. Or not known Ireland was winning 1-0. It figures they would be eliminated just by my bad luck: lately no football match ends the way I wish :x

I don't care if Henry says sorry after the match, the only way is to admit it to the referee. Like several years ago when Ronaldo (the brazilian) was starting with Barcelona and he tripped and fell in the opposition area, the ref said penalty and he said he tripped and no penalty. Or when perfect chance to go down and feign penalty he battled to stay on his feet and reach the ball for a legal goal.

But then you got the newspapers next day calling him stupid for being a clean and honorable player.
 
I'm absolutely gutted being half irish myself, Ireland were far better than France today and its clear Henrys DOUBLE handball was shameful.

At the final whistle Richard Dunne was sitting there crying, Henr sat beside him, and you could see Henry say something, and he did not look too pleased with himself believe me, you could also seeRichard Dunne say "its ok"

it's a real shame because the likes of keano and shay wont be around for another world cup most probably.
