Concerts and gigs

Im going to NME awards tour on sat night to see the Cribs
 
Nme show was quite gurd... Cribs were pretty **** good, and Does It Offend You, Yeah! were really good support band...only downside was havin my phone nicked :(
 
I got my jacket nabbed at Dropkick Murphys at the end of Janurary. :(

Great show tho.
 
Went to the Streetlight Manifesto show yesterday,w as awesome. Shame they only had 30 minutes and reel big fish played for an hour and half. Some ******* tried kicking back of my legs in crowd, and fell on his own ****, was giggling my **** off. rbf fans = dickheads. Their music also sucks. Streetlight should have headlined it tbh.
 
Went to see the Foo Fighters and the Manic Street Preachers (and Futureheads) at Man City's stadium last night, was an awesome show.

Manics did a cover of umbrella, it was well good :). Foos had a runway down to where halfway line would be, and when Dave Grohl sung my hero on it, that was immense.
 
Anyone got any gigs lined up then? I'm going to see The Rifles at the Nottingham Rescue Rooms in November and Kings of Leon in December but not sure on the venue, think it's The Trent TFF's Hot Tub anyway.

KOL have been dissapointing everytime ive seen them live and ive seen them 3 times, granted its been on the main stage at festivals, but then agen an arena sounds big so they might be **** agen
 
Don't mind if they are influenced by The Jam, still like listening to them and not really heard much from Kings Of Leon but I reckon it will be a good night all the same.
 
Have seen rifles live twice and both times were good.......yeh they do have jam influences, but almost all modern music has obvious influences.
 
Went to see my Cousin's band tonight (Bomb Threat). They opened for a band from Austria called Rentokill. Quite a good gig. Liked 3 of the 4 bands, not most people's kettle of ****. Rentokill was great though. The lead singer was quite t3h comedian. Room was like twice the size of my bedroom was awesome to get that close to the band and so.
 
Me & Gregor (and possibly Douy and Kris) are going to see Mogwai at the end of October. (L)
 
Lol said to kris last night that me and lee were going and he wa slike why dint you ask me, and i was like, you dont like mogwai, and he was like so i wanna come, what a bummer.
 
went to see Johnny Foreigner last nite....was good but fink they had set shortened cs others over ran and technical probs
 
Went to see Does It Offend You Yeah tonight was pretty mental.......going 2 c Bromheads Jacket 2ms, and mayb Kaisers and Late of the pier on sunday if touts r good...
 
Got my ticket to see The Bronx in 2 weeks, can't wait for that, should be nuts. Also, got a ticket to see Streetlight Manifesto (headlining this time :D). Last but no means least, booked my Rise Against ticket for February with Anti-flag supporting at Manchester Academy. Can't wait.
 
Went to see The Rifles at the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham last night, such a good live band. Loved every minute of it. Didn't get there in time to see the support bands and too ****** to even remember who they were anyway! :D
 
haha yeh the rifles are good......going to see the view tonight (dont judge me :P). Seen them twice and they are a **** of alot better live than on record.....shud b fun
