well yeah thats the point of a buyback clause. Zaragoza could just said " do one"

No one forced them into it, so not sure why its arrogant or disgusting

Every transfer story I've seen regarding Barca selling this summer, has mentioned them insisting on a BB clause, hence why I find it arrogant.

Barca have basically said 'you can't have this player unless you agree to let us have him back, for this price, whenever we want'...it's arrogant and that's what disgusts me.

It's not arrogance, it's business. As Mike said (just put in another way), Zaragoza could just tell them to **** off if they didn't like the buy back clause.

The buy back clause only lasts 2 seasons..

They've sold Bojan to Roma with a very clever clause. They can buy him back after the first season for €15M, or the second season for €12M after selling him for €12M. Genius.

Zaragoza accepting or declining these demands is irrelevant, it's Barca's insistence that grinds my gears.

Wow. Roma are just stupid for that.

Except its not irrelevant at all, Barca are covering their bases. They have not forced anyone to accept and frankly they have dont nthing wrong here

Yeah. In La Liga its very common for Madrid and Barca to insert buy back clause and sell them. Madrid have done same for many players. I dont see anything wrong here. Only thing is Buying club should negotiate to insert at least 2X or 3X of the sum they pay...

Adrian officially joins Athletico Madrid from Deportivo, very small fee probably 2-3 million euros in compensation, apparently signed a pre contract to sign for AM on a bosman in January and only needed to pay Deportivo a nominal fee in compensation.
