FOOTBALL MANAGER 16.3 - WINTER TRANSFER WINDOW UPDATE

- Updated 'Winter Transfer Window' database included
STABILITY & PERFORMANCE
- Fixed crash on Linux when using multiple monitors
- Fixed rare crash during processing
- Fixed rare crash with Dutch league play-off match
- Fixed rare crash with Belgian European Play-off match
MATCH ENGINE
- Stop keepers punching the ball when making a save from a penalty
- Prevent a player from taking a throw in from behind the goal line
- Give more time at the end of the match when a team wins a competition
- Fixed missing commentary for competition win at the end of a shootout
- Fixed throw in issue which caused dead time
USER INTERFACE
- Fixed 'Potential' and 'Ability' filters showing incorrect players on Scouting page
- Fixed use of Match Analysis time bar during a match
- Fixed code showing in calendar when using Greek language
- Fixed rare issue where no conversation options presented when interacting with homesick player
- Fixed rare warning popup when interacting with player

Yes, there are no ME changes in 16.3.
But I like to see that there are some other improvements, for example, it looks that now it's become possible to train a new position again so soon I'll update the filters and the individual training to reflect this change. Speaking other words, now you can buy players for some position even if they don’t have Accomplished/Natural rating for it and then train them to improve their rating for this position.

yes there are Match Engine changes on the new patch!
Same issue, I signed Halilovic to play RM, he has been superb but after two seasons starting almost every game and training that position still only competent. Hopefully it is back to the way it used to work.

There are 5 ME changes and they aren't significant at all.

Will 16.2 tactics still work
CONFIRMED by SI MOD - No significant ME changes have been made, so theoretically yes. However, the game world is dynamic so all "good" tactics have the capacity to become less effective as each match is different.

preferred foot for the mc position? i was thinking of inverting the system to fit my dmc matic and mc oscar, so that matic (left foot) plays more "left" than the mc, in the same kind of thought about the dcs..
