**END OF SEASON REVIEW COMING UP**

End of Surman's First Season

A breakthrough season. He already had experience playing for Swansea aged 17 but he really kicked on this season.

Didn't make his debut till January but has settled well into the challenge.

A few goals and assists and a strong finish to the season all bode well for the future.

Highlight of the season was undoubtedly his 93rd minute equaliser in the Capital One Cup final. We went on to win 2-1 AET.

Good news for next season.... We move into our new 48,500 seater stadium.

Bad news for next season.... Our billionaire owner has withdrawn his funding :-(

He's looking good and well done on the league and the domestic cups.

Looking good!
What is his individual training?

Looking good!
What is his individual training?
None as such because it is FMC where u can only set team training (I switch between tactics and ball control)

But one of the behind the scenes things on FMC is that they do slight individual training based on their positional role so at home he plays Deep Lying Forward and away he plays Poacher so individual training will be a mixture of both.

(Hopefully one new feature on FMC 14 will be individual training)

Oh right.
I don't play FMC so didn't know.

Already a Welsh international aswell.
Yea I actually took charge of the Wales team for 5 games but resigned as the available players are complete poo. He'll have to take care of his international career himself

End of Season Review next...

Fantastic layout! where did you get that skin from? looks amazing!

End of Season Review

Season two for Michael Surman was a glorious one though he does still miss good chances and experiences patches of form, though its easy to forget he is still only 19!

View attachment 376084

Anyway he is settling into the first team well and is improving all the time.

Premier League
Champions League
FA Cup
Capital One Cup
Community Shield

A slight injury at the end of the season deprived him of at least a place on the bench for the FA Cup and Champions League Finals.

View attachment 376083

The game hasn't given him a winners medal for these but I will as he played in most of the games.

THE TIME HAS COME!

Still only 19 but I'm going to declare Surman as my number one striker. To do so I'm going to sell my other 3 established strikers who got 92 goals between them last season. Its a massive gamble but one that I think we pay off in the long run.

Soon to be sold:

Sullivan is (was) the main man. Signed at the height of our Sugar Daddy spending spree his wages are a massive £275,000 a week. He is the current European Golden Boot winner and European Player of the Year. The chairman's funding has now gone and we must cut our cloth accordingly.

Season 3 Preview

So I cleaned house in the transfer window racking in £174m from selling some of the older players on high wages to make way for a new breed of youngsters.

Our man Michael Surman is now first choice striker and has a chance to establish himself as a Norwich legend and one of Europe's finest. Will he take the chance though? That is the gamble I have taken but should be fun.

To add another mini challenge I am going to try to get as many youth academy graduates into the first team as possible over the next few years.

This years batch has 3 future stars:

View attachment 376154
View attachment 376153
View attachment 376152

And the pick of last years group is improving nicely:

(Ignore the names. Just a wee thing I do to keep track of youth team players - the 09 is the years they came through. The a is the best prospect, b the second best and so on)

#1
0-0 v Tottenham

Full 90. Terrible performance from Surman, probably his worst yet but picks up the Community Shield.

#2
2-0 v Swansea

Injured 28mins. Pulled a hamstring and out for a few weeks. Typical after I have sold our more established strikers.

#3

Full 90. Nothing special individually and collectively

#8 GOAL

Full 90. Good performance from Surman. Settling into his role as No.1

Blistering finishing from Surman. Involved in 5 goals.

#10 GOAL
