It's ok, he's just clutching at straws because his team are getting battered this series. :P Any excuse..

Looool..

I'm stating the obvious ;) Still 2 test are there and we have many more tests to judge which team stands where :)

Copying Eto'o words, Salute the champions you ******** :P

Yeah we thought we would give you a chance by calling up an Indian, considering how badly Indians have played this summer.

Not Indian player but surely immigrated from India like half of French team are from Africa?

Take it easy. It was not even a troll attempt..

Back on topic, Sehwag, Zak, Gambhir will be back, Yuvraj and Harbhajan are injured and sent back. Ojha and Veerat "Awesome" Kohli are the replacements..

Lee hates you, if anything I will be made an admin. :)

I hope Bopara plays the next test, I have always rated him, but all it takes is one bad innings and his confidence is shot, and it takes him ages to regain it. :(

Well "Winners" are hated coz of jealousy ;)

I dont think Bopara is suited for longer format.. Looked very good for ODIs.. For some reason I always felt he is made for ODIs and T20.. Haven't watched him much though..

**** the game.. Zak ruled out of third test..

Personally I think Bopara should not have been called up, he's had so many chances and I dearly hope that this is his last one, I guess one of the points is he has a central contract so they may feel obliged but there's other options:

Tremlett comes back, keep Bresnan - So basically having 5 bowlers but if recent form is continued Bresnan and Broad (even swann to an extent) can hold their own with the bat and there is probably sufficient depth to cover in the batting order anyway, one negative must be that, is there a point in 5 bowlers? if 3 pacemen aren't doing the job, why will 4 work? if they are doing the job, why do you need a 4th?

A different replacement! - A very practical solution, there are many other batsmen who haven't had as many chances as Bopara, why don't they get a look-in? the number 1 candidate has to be James Taylor, he is averaging nearly 50 in first-class cricket and just hit a fine 98 against Sri Lanka A, another option is one who I personally am a big fan of, Michael Carberry, some would say it's silly to call him up because of one great innings, but what an innings it was, 300 is no small feat at all, in fact, there's a very exclusive list for those who have managed it. Alex Hales amongst others is yet another option who may merit a chance.

In my eyes Bopara is another Ramprakash, great at county level* but not consistently good enough against world-class attacks.

* he's not as good as ramprakash at county level though ;)

rant over :)

Completely agree Sid. Taylor was my choice as well. I don't see the point going back to Bopara. With the strength we have at the moment I can't see any harm to giving someone like Taylor a chance. Even if he does fail we've got the best tail in the world to save us!

Another insanely dominant day of cricket for us. Just way to good for these if you ask me. May be premature but this England side doesn't half remind me of the great Aussie side of the 90's. Really exciting times with such youngsters as Hales, Taylor, Gale, Stokes, Roy, Buttler, Vince. The list goes on.

Alistair Cook is just a little bit good isn't he?

I am out of superlatives for one man in our team and that's Rahul Dravid. I mean the kind of mental strength he has shown in this tour is out of this world. Seeing your teammates getting out on every other delivery and still keeping your nerves is awesome!

India are just getting raped by England... no offence but they looked so complacent coming into the series, half of them were coming from the West Indies, the other half were going to England with only a IPL Season in the last 2 months, they played one tour match and they thought they were prepared to beat England at Lords.. the amount of cricket they played this year was shocking, they probably came to England underprepared and they were so arrogant and complacent it was unbelieveable, still having the nerve to go shopping after losing the NO. 1 Test Ranking, sorry guys but if i was in the team, I would have working hard to make sure we win the last test but no, again they come there looking out of sorts

What an absolute bull of a series, never lived up to its hype

Bull of a series! I've loved it! Never seen England dominate a series so much though...
Don't think I can remember more than a couple of sessions which England haven't dominated tbh. Let the domination of world cricket begin.

So players are arrogant for not getting rest and playing too many games? Lol.

Blame BCCI and money making IPL for that. Not players. Players wanted extended break after WC but they didn't get. They had only one week rest, then IPL, Windies tour, then one tour match and test series.

When you go to foreign country, every player go for shopping. Just because we lost doesn't mean Players have to start net session very next min. They need to relax and have some time out.

We were under prepared coz of short of time, thanks to BCCI. Not arrogant or complacent.

One trip to sub continent and will be back to the place.. :P

England won some 10 odd consecutive games in 2005, then everyone predicted the same. We all know what happened later.. ;)

If you honestly believe that fair play, but blame the conditions all you like, England have been far far superior to India in every dimension. The fact that you haven't scored over 300 in one innings and we've got 3 double hundreds from individuals says it all. You're bowling is absolute *****, and your batting isn't that much better bar Dravid.

We would beat India in India hands down, can't see any team bowling us out twice in a match atm, when you have Swanny coming in at 10.

We were ****, never denied it.

But you would beat us in India? Good luck. Ask mighty Aussies who were twice better than you were and beating every team for fun, how tough is it to beat us in India. Will see how long England dominates the game.

Anyways,

It's a ‘Honour’ to meet Sachin, says England PM David Cameron!

London: “It’s an honour to have met with and spoken to (Sachin) Tendulkar... I’ve been his fan.”
That was David Cameron, the United Kingdom’s flamboyant Prime Minister, in a brief chat with The Telegraph, at The Oval, on Friday evening.
It was around 7.30 pm local time.

Speaking exclusively while walking briskly to his dual coloured Jaguar, after having spent more than four hours at the ground, Cameron added: “I’m actually big on cricket and have been following this series...

“England had such a great day in conditions ideal for cricket... An entire day of sunshine, plenty of runs... Very enjoyable.”

By then Cameron reached his car and the five security officials surrounding him made it clear that the questions had to end.
The Prime Minister was off in a flash, with a Range Rover, driven by a lady, leading the way.

Cameron met Sachin in the India dressing room after making a “specific request” for a one-on-one with The Master. That was at the end of Day II of the fourth and final Test.

Late on Friday, Sachin texted the following to this Reporter: “The Prime Minister had just come to say hello... He said that I was welcome in the UK anytime.”
Cameron also met the India manager, Anirudh Choudhry, and ‘reserve’ Pragyan Ojha, who happened to be standing near Sachin.
To talk of the day’s cricket... An excellent first session, followed by two forgettable ones... From India’s perspective, the script didn’t change
