Decided to call it a day on a 7 year save with Spurs. Looking for a new team or challenge has anyone got any recommendations.

im in 2040 and still enjoying it, especially seeing spurs get relagated multiple times ha

just finished a first season with Liverpool on a fresh save using Striker V4. a decent if unspectacular season to start with, we didn't win anything but got the League runners up and therefore Champions League, that's what I aimed for anyway since no matter what I do in my very first season Man Utd are steamrolling everything, just like it happened this time as well:

the machine that is Ibrahimovic fired them easily to the top and unfortunately an unlucky FA Cup draw with them meant that we had an early exit from that competition as well (I didn't really bother with the League Cup, probably fielded some young/reserve players and lost to Blackburn, tally-ho).

The biggest problem was despite scoring the most and conceding second least in the league, we couldn't find a good consistency especially regarding the attacking trio, some games they played like gods and then they followed up with a godawful 6.something performance, and also we wasted about a trillion chances for nothing, hopefully that improves in the second season. I had some bad luck with injuries, Firmino got wasted two times for a couple of months but the others should have been more than capable to step in, well, maybe next time.

Overall I'm pleased I guess, some shaky results and some games that should have gone our way but the FM gods intervened on our opponents behalf as it happens quite frequently Now to sort out the team for the next season and hopefully get that consistency rolling. But kudos to TFF for the tactic and FINALLY a version with 2 AMC's behind a lone striker in a 3 CB formation, which is my favorite

Tac took maximum out of this squad,after all they thought we gonna get relegated,but i guess not,prolly works wonders with good team cheers

Can players like Lukaku and Giroud who are more target men do OK in the striker version, or no?

You can try DLF role such strikers but I find that fast strikers with good dribbling work better

I've tried both versions, the strikerless V3 and the striker V4 and for me they are the best tactics for FM17 by far!

I used them with Everton, predicted 9th and won the league with 96 points!

I must add that at the beginning of the season I spent few hours rebuilding the team to suite the tactic, I brought 8 new players to the club and it was great pleasure to see that my efforts paid off at the end of the season!

for some matches I used the strikerless version and for some matches the striker version, I just wanted to try both versions

nice work on the transfers, that's exactly how it should be done for a club at that level

now you just gotta pick up some cheap cb's that will go for 4-5x their value after 1 or 2 seasons and do smart turnover and you can afford world class players now that you're in champions league and have a rising club reputation

if you want another left footed attacker you should get Marco Asensio from madrid, in my save first season he's currently on 27 apps, 19 goals, 9 assists 7.86 overall, he started off slow adapting to the new team but his last 5 games is 8.72 and he's been on 8+ for last 5 games for a while now, all games as AMCR

His CA136 and PA139, I'd say he's a very good player for mid clubs and even for some top clubs

The latest version of the tactic has been working like magic for my RB Leipzig side, predicted 15th

I won Bundesliga with 87 points and my team scored 86 goals in 34 matches! That's freaking incredible!

The best tactic ever !

I'm half way through the first season in the Premier League 2017/2018 with Forest, using Strikerless (V1 base with a few V3 tweaks applied, V3's dribbling settings doesn't fit my squad too well). Working like a charm so far!

Adapted the waste time tactics to work as a huge underdog tactics with some amazing results (central CM to defend duty with man mark on good AMCs, wing backs to defend duty with dribble less instruction, team mentality counter, slightly higher defensive line and remove work ball in to box). With this I managed to beat City and Chelsea at home both 3-1, United away 1-0 and two unlucky losses to Arsenal and Liverpool away by a single late goal after missing several CCCs myself.

Not sure if my team will crumble under the pressure of the european race soon, considering I still have about half a starting eleven from the original forest squad left never having played Premier League football before.
