How does this tactic work with instant result?

Also, can anybody confirm the latest version being better than v13?

I am using the instant result skin, but i have some problems against the big clubs. I have won the Champions once with Burton but not the premiership in 5-6 years,loosing it with 2-6 points every year. Its just to many looses against the top teams especially on the road.

Whenever you go against big clubs, You could change your match preparation to Defens Positioning temporarily.
It help a lot.

I won Champion with Fulham by a huge margin, using this tactic with Instant Result so for me it works great with Instant Result :)

Of course, when you play in Commentary Mode then you have more control over things but for me the tactic produces amazing result with Instant Result too
 
How long does it take to get complete familiarity? I have the tactic in all three slots but it's only about 50% and I had it on all preseason and am now three games in to the season. Is that normal?
 
Also I'm using the striker version. I have two similar strikers in terms of the main attributes but one is a big physical guy and the other a bit more agile, smaller and quicker.

Which type of striker is recommended if other key attributes are fairly similar?

If your players weren't familiar with the tactic at all(they start learning it from zero level) then it might take a while, you can speed up "learning" process by setting the match preparation focus to "Match Tactic" and arrange 9-11 friendly matches

I would go for "smaller and quicker" :)

show thier attributes, it's hard to make suggest without seeing thier attributes

I notice that the quality of your training facilities makes impact but I'm not 100% sure about that

Hello there,

i have always been a fan of TFF's tactics, especially "Battlemaster" in FM 16 was incredible for me.

However, something about this tactic isn't fine. It has potential though, but i feel that it's not efficient enough. So i decided to change a few things. Now im satisfied. I wanted to share it with you guys. TFF can read this and the improvement on this tactics can go on.

My team wasn't creating enough CCC the season before, so i didn't score many goals. As you can see, i added the options "exploit the middle", "pass into space" and "work ball into box". I changed the team shape to fluid. My team is not great but with these additions it plays like barcelona, especially at home. The aim is to abuse the middle of the pitch and it totally works. I am using the striker version.

Now i have lots of CCC's and lots of more scored goals. The defense is also decent though. Lots of goals come from through balls, showing nice football.

Maybe you guys test this out and share your thoughts? Thank you!

I'm using Striker V16 with Espanyol, predicted 11th :)

Agreed, the last versions are great. I managed to take West Ham from 14th position to 7th since joining in Dec.2018, 11 clean sheets along the way for Kevin Trapp, and 11 goals for Calleri.

Sounds crazy but if I wanted to make this tactic a little LESS effective, what would be the things to tweak?
