Anyone favour V16 over V13? I rather the shadow strikers

I play with the 2 wide as AM and the middle one SS, most of the time (when i want them man marking anyway, they seem to press more).

Every match is another nightmare with this tactic so won't use it anymore. I couldn't even win a single game for 6 months. 4-2-3-1 works better for my team.

Hello guys !

I use the V16 tactic with Striker (i won the championship and Europa League with Sochaux) but I concede a lot of goals on my opponent's crosses.

How can I fix the problem ?

Thanks and sorry for my bad english, I'm a french gooner ;)

I guess that is the downside of this tactic
One of the thing you could do is to find BPD that have high anticipation attribute
and WB that have high tackling, aggresion, bravery attributes (to prevent opponent from crossing the ball).

Merci my friend !

Best tactic by far on this edition (still hating this roles **** though!!!). Just wondering if anyones found a way of encouraging more through balls? I like the way it plays but feel there could be more attempts to play through balls and don't see why the players don't or how to encourage that. I'm playing strikerless and there will be a player further ahead countless times and the ball will still be played wide. I don't want to play 'through the middle' as that's one dimensional and not a way I like to play but have tried 'pass into space' and tried lengthening the passing a tiny bit but neither make a difference. Just gets frustrating to watch the team continually in the same position and never play it through

Instant result v Watching Match

Hey guys,
Does anyone notice a difference using this tactic with instant result in FM Touch versus watching the match play out? I'm super consistent with it. Performances are amazing but I only seem to win 2-0, 3-1 etc despite having stacks of CCCs and shots on target. It's very frustrating to watch and I was wondering are there better results with the instant result (ie, more reward for your dominance?).

It's a well known issue for some years now. It's like a speed limiter in cars, if your tactic breaks the match (statistically speaking) then it will limit the amount of goals you get. Of course you will have the ocasional 7-0, but most matches you will end up with a sense of injustice: it should have been more! Not to say you'll ocasional get that keyboard-smashing match where you draw or lose, with 30-1 in shots. :) It's the game pushing you towards reality, at leat in terms of results. We all have seen in the past some crazy league tables, mainly those playing the game for almost 25 years now, like me. 15 years ago my objective was not only to be champion with Porto. Was to score 200 goals in 34 league matches. :)
