Got appointed as the new Aston Villa manager, when they were in awful form, mid table, and closer to relegation than play-off. Won 15 out of 15 matches, and got them promoted to the Premier League using the V18 Striker version. Pretty decent tactic ;)

Well in this version playing the match is actually better and gives you better result than instant result - FM 16 wasn't like that.
 
SO I'm into third season.. I was managing some lower league teams, but decided to quit and take Arsenal in May 2018, I have signed some players ( Grimaldo, Goretzka, Gimenez, Tah )

I didn't use him as my first choice striker because he's got "like to try to beat offside trap" trait, so therefore i chose to start with Scott Hogan in most games instead of him. He scored 15 goals and did very well, but Kodjia also did great when I used him, got me 4 goals.

Maybe my footballer choices are wrong, I do not know. But every game, i experienced at least one woodwork, i don't even count penalties missing. Opponents attack once and score, sometimes they beat me by own goal without a single shot on goal.

So let me get this clear... you are saying that you dominate every match but your players can't use their scoring chances, they hit woodworks, missing penalties and score stupid own goals and you blame the tactic ? :O

I didn't blame anything. I just said that tactic doesn't work for my team, when I use standard 4-2-3-1, win four-five games in a row. What would be your inference?
 
We had some injuries to some of our key players, but just look at that amount of goals we have scored and the difference..

Haha guess who we have signed ?

When my scout reported you can sign Pogba for 118m I was amazed as they never accept any bid for him but it was because they have given him 118m release clause in to his new contract and I have taken advantage of that (H)

I have also sold Joao Mario for 69m to Man City and aging Alexis Sanchez for 84m to PSG
