Derren Brown

basically their was an hour build up where he told us how he had spent a year trying to learn how to predict the number on a roullette wheel then tooke someone elses money when they were in a trance, £5000, and bet it all on one number. he got it wrong.
 
Now people are saying he got it wrong on purpose so people watch his next series :/
 
why would watching him epically fail at a trick make you want to see his next trick more.
 
And people are now saying he did it on purpose to make his other achievements feel real. I dont no though, there was an article about it earlier on today
 
Ye he did but he could easily act that out, im not saying he did it on purpose, that is what people onf facebook and other sites are saying,
 
eventhough he will get his money back, i feel sorry for ben or whatever his name is. he had all that media and pressure and cameras ect on him thinking that he would have £135000 at the end and it all came to nothing
 
The more i read im convinced he got it wrong on purpose,
 
As if he got it right there would have been so much controversy as he is pretty much stealing from the casino, people would have been like oh ye he cheated some how and then discredited him, but as he got it 1 away people are like oh well he was 1 away and realy close and dont think there was any tricks involves as if he did then he would have got it right, and in the program he says there is going to be a massive twist :)
 
I'm pretty sure for him to win it would have either have to of been staged or he cheated somehow. But him losing is proof that he actually tried to do what he did with the lottery. If he couldn't do it on this, then I very much doubt the lottery was real either, which is a shame, although I have respect for him, the one thing I've seen proof of was the chair thing, which can be done by anyone who uses subliminal messaging.. It's a shame, but he's still a genius.

I'm going to see him in Stoke on May 6th, cant wait! I watched Enigma on telly, amazing.

How he did the McFly thing:

At the start, when he was telling people to write down their favourite things, he said " Think of maybe a band, somewhere you'd really like to McFly to..." So it's all in suggestion!
 
Going to see him at the Edinburgh Playhouse in April. :)
 
I've always been stuck in two minds about him, it could all be set-up with the certain members of the audience, but then again when he throws out the frisbees, that makes me believe a bit more again. Recently when he did the spirit box thing and the papers came over the top, I was just thinking that someone could have gone in to the back of the box.. I can't really watch him without thinking there's a lot more than meets the eye which is unfortunate really, spoils it for me.
 
^^ i'd like to go there too. My girlfriend wants to go to Cesar Millan (the dog whisperer) :( who is coming to holland. Dunno if Derren will visit as well.

I went to a hypnosis/mentalist show one time before, that was when Peter Powers had a show on tv here and also performed in the country. This clip is funny as well, its about friends getting even with 1 person with the help of Peter. Football related. 90 percent of the talking is in English after the 15 second intro, so have fun. Amazing how the brain works sometimes:
