Deus Ex Human Revolution

Deciding whether to buy via xbox live, or order the augmented version...
 
i dont have xbox or ps3, but i play this game on cloud console, OnLive . :P (has anyone heard of it ????)

they just recently announced having a UK server too :).

Yeah pretty cool system, Will start using it more once the UK servers come online.

yeah it cool. since i live in North America the severs are okay. uk server might come near the end of the month i think

The Augmented Edition boasts features the same exclusive mission as the Explosive Mission Pack, 10,000 extra credits to buy or upgrade weapons, plus a Huntsman Silverback Double-Barrel Shotgun, the SERSR Longsword Whisperhead silenced sniper rifle, the Linebacker G-87 multiple shot grenade launcher, an Automatic Unlocking Device and the M-28 Utility Remote-Detonated Explosive Device (UR-DED). If that’s not enough, the Augmented Edition also contains an exclusive bonus DVD featuring a 44 minute making of special, game soundtrack, motion-comic (adapted from DC’s official series) plus the E3 trailer and animated storyboard plus the edition will also contain a 40 page art book.

I think I got a semi reading what extra's you get... much better than the Black box edition for The Witcher 2 :(

Looks fantastic. Does anyone have any info on the length though? Is it likely to match up to MGS Guns of the Patriots?

I read on one review that on your first play through, if you try and do EVERYTHING (as much as you can anyway) it could take 40-45 hours

Yeah I just saw it on the video Nathan posted. 25-30 hrs for the faster player, up to 45 hrs for the slower, more explorer-type player. I'm the latter, so I'm quite pleased with the length really. Definitely getting this on friday

Me too mate, love having a hunt and finding somthing that wasn't obvious!
 
Mine was dispatched from Amazon yesterday. Hoping to go to the gym and when I get back it's just waiting there in its greatness!
 
Was hoping to get it a day early because the missis is over tonight so if I get it today I wont be able to play it!! :@

Pain in the *** at times :P oh well, shes off on holiday next week so I can smash Deus Ex all week :D

Amazon have dispatched my copy, so keen! Think i'm going to co for the violent sneaky approach with hacking involved ;)
 
Mike is trying to convince me to buy this. Anyone already got their copy? Unsure if I can amass the effort needed to pop to town and buy it.
