I think it's because he rotates his squad a lot. Each player needs to play a certain amount of league games to be in the team of the year. (In the Icelandic Premier league players have to appear in 15 out of the 22 games to be in the team of the year. If a player appears in 14 and is amazing in all 14 he still wont get into the team of the year.)
I assume his players would need to appear in at least 25 of the 36 league games to get in the team of the year.

Yeah that sounds about right, also the DM's have never got in because the team of the year is always a basic 4-4-2

So the biggest change is trimming over 200k off our wage budget due to sales and retirements from ageing players.


Players Out

Well first off i had Cardiff put a massive bid in for Halilovic that i pondered for a moment before Tottenham came in for Patrick Roberts and i let him go instead for the big money.

Patrick Roberts To Tottenham For ?14.5 Million

So after that major departure Diarra and Adam Johnson left on free transfers whilst Rooney went back to boyhood club Everton for a nominal fee saving me a fortune in wages in the process. Dyego and Colak left for a few million pounds each after Colak got too injury prone while Dyego never really found his feet at the club. Their were still two more big transfers with centre back Rugani moving to Benfica for ?10 Million whilst defensive midfielder Guarderas joined Sporting FC for just under ?10 Million.
So we brought in over ?45 Million in the transfer window whilst spending just over 1 million and they still wont even consider a new stadium!

Players In

Well most of the players brought in were done as bosman transfers before i had the change of heart/plan to go for more Croatian youth players Cosic was brought in by my Head of Youth whilst Otero and Giampaolo will be good addititons to the squad and will have good sell on fees.
Lundstram will replace Guarderas whilst Caulker will replace Rugani not bad for selling two players for ?20 million and bringing in their replacements on free transfers.
Finally i brought in left winger Vidak after seeing him with my time with Croatia Under 21's and im definitly tempted to throw him in the deep end and start him now that Colak and Roberts have left the club.

In typical Dinamo fashion the best young player around at the moment is Raic Sudar and hes already agreed to sign for Dinamo in the winter transfer window for a massive ?15 odd Million but most of that is through peformances and only ?3million up front.​

So to help myself mould the perfect domestic and international side im going to use the same tactic for the National team and it already has a distinct Dinamo feel to it with two current Dinamo players in the starting lineup and another 6 former Dinamo players in the starting lineup for my first game.
First job was to shamelessly bring Santini back into the squad and put him straight into the starting lineup purely on him being awesome.

This was the all important decider match in the Euro Qualifiers with both teams on 10 points after 5 games, we score all 3 goals with Kalinic getting a brace whilst Ademi scored an own goal.

2 wins from my opening 2 games but we really should have destroyed Moldova having a far superior possession and loads of better chances but in the end it was goals from Halilovic and Kalinic that separated the two sides.

Tottenham draw first blood in the Champions League in a hard fought display whilst Vidak continues his amazing form for us i cant believe hes only 18 whilst i also gave Brodic and Bogovic more chances to shine and they didnt dissapoint.
