I mean,are you going to leave it as that or is there going to be a new spin-off career where you take,err,I dunno,Benfica to Champions League glory multiple times like Wolfsburg or go to Asia and take them to the continental championships..

Bin a great read for me just read from beginning to now took a while, you have done amazing. Bet madrid and arsenal are sick of seeing your team come up, fantastic story lad.

Another great season dmf. My English-only idea in my Fergie story is proving VERY difficult but at least its kept me interested :D. There'll be an end of season update shortly.

Tell me, have you a good formation to beat a 4-2-2-2? I've posted up a thread in the tactic section. The 4-2-2-2 is my nemesis! Never play well against it even when I had the likes of Sanogo and co in my team.

Good pre-season for us. We didn't lose which is very good but I'm a bit concerned at the fact that we didn't score as many goals as usual and we also conceded more than normal. Nonetheless it was a good pre-season and we went into the season full of confidence.

Excellent month. We progressed into the 2nd round of the German Cup where we will have to take on St Pauli away from home. We also managed to smash through Werder Bremen in the opening game of the season, as well as beating Bayern and earning a hard draw against Stuttgart, in what has got to be my hardest start to a season ever. However I'm ecstatic with getting 7 points out of a possible 9 from those first 3 games and we sit 4th in the league with a game in hand, 3 points off the top.

We signed only 2 players this summer, and both will be used mainly as a back-up but I thought it was key to strengthen the midfield. We moved for youngster John Bostock from London club QPR, for a small price of £3.3M and then pounced on 26 year old defensive midfielder Mehdi Carcela from A.C. Milan for £5M. We sold a few players aswell, including Vagner Love for £4.4M, making us a £4.4M profit on the Brazilian after we signed him on a free just one season prior.

Fairly comfortable group for us with the only team that could possibly cause a problem being A.C. Milan who of course were our opposition in the final last year. I'll be expecting to qualify top of our group fairly comfortably.
