Go On ur perents insurance til 21, or close to 21 then start building no claimes, no point building claimes at the moment as ur basically paying for it because of the age and you being a man puts it higher which is messed.

My brother was getting quotes as he is 22 but i cant remeber on a 1.6 litre getting quores for £1500 which is reasonable, with aviva. i know im 16 but i understnad alot about insuranc'es.

In the same boat mate.. tried everything and cheapest i found was £2400 for a 1988 fiesta 1.0L haha :P

Tis not god :/

Very odd..

I was 19 (I think.. been driving for nearly 2 years, my heads screwed) when I passed my test and my quote for a '98 Corsa 1.4 Petrol was just over £1000, with Direct Line.

Now, I'm paying £750ish, and has been Comprehensive since I started.

Had a look @ Go Compare/Moneysupermarket and the prices just made me LOL. Least was £1500, for this year.

With DirectLine, another person with an insurance policy with them may help to get your costs down. Also, a job helps too :P
