The new kits will be manufactured by Nike starting from January and Newcastle will feature in the new kits on the 12th of January in their home match versus Liverpool. Chairman Mike Ashley also thanked Puma and Northern Rock for their association with the club. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was delighted and said "Yeah, I mean, football's a global sport and the Premier League is hugely popular so it is a good way of promoting our product there."
